Bobble was once again back at the hospital, Able to visit Headphones this time. There was silence between the two as Headphones listened to music. Bobble soon broke the silence by asking "Whatcha' listening to?" "Endolphin surge. "Oh, that's by wet floor. That's a good song." There was more silence. "Uh, you know what, it's kinda funny. I don't think people see me as the type to listen to these types of songs, and when I name one correctly, seriously you should see their faces, it's like they're impressed I know about that stuff." She continued for becoming silent and saying "Everything I know about it, it's because of you. I would have never even listened to this type of music ever if it wasn't for you, y'know." "Hey, Bobble." Headphones said which caused Bobble to look up at her. "Yeah?" "Cut it out. Stop torturing me already." She said which caused the other female to be surprised.
Headphones took off her headphones before continuing. "Why do you keep coming here? You think I like listening to this music? It's like your trying to hurt me." This made Bobble even more surprised. "But Headphones, I thought you loved music-" "I don't wanna hear this crap anymore! What's the point if I can't play! All I can do is listen! I just... I just!" She then screamed in frustration as she slammed the side of her hand down on the CD player causing the disk to break and make her hand bleed. The smiling female shot up in her chair and reached to the other side of the bed and stopped Headphones with a worried expression on her face.
Both of them were now breathing heavily as Bobble held Headphones hand back. She started to cry as she said "I can't move it. I can't even feel the pain anymore. My hands useless..." Bobble looked up as her when she said that and replied "It's gonna be okay. I'm sure someday, somehow. Don't give up hope, they'll figure something out." "But they came and told me to give up. They said I'll never play again. The doctor told me, he said that current medicine can't help anymore. My hand is never gonna move right again. Unless magic and miracles suddenly become real." She said with a shaky voice as Bobble got a determined look on her face. "But they are!" Headphones looked up at her. "Miracles. Magic." That's when the female looked up and saw Kyubey outside, waiting for her.
Meanwhile, Goggles was walking home after talking with Rider. 'When I was talking with Rider, it felt like we could be friends. I wonder why he and Specs didn't get along.' He looked to the side and noticed someone 'Is that Prince?' He started to run towards him. "Hey, Prince! I thought you were at practice today! Where are you-" The blue male stopped as he cut himself off after seeing the witches kiss on his neck. 'It's like what that woman had.' He thought as he slowed to a walk. "Prince! Hey Prince, c'mon!" He said as he held the yellow squids shoulders. "Oh, good evening Goggles, how are you?" The squid said in a monotone voice. "Huh? What happened to you? Do you know where you are or where you're going?" "Where am I going? I'm going somewhere wonderful, that's where." "Prince...." "Oh yes, and you simply must come with." Prince continued to talk as he walked away from Goggles. "Yes, you'll see. It'll be so wonderful." The blue squid proceeded to follow the slightly younger squid so he wouldn't get into trouble.
Goggles became worried as his friend continued. 'What should I do? This can't be happening!' Other people soon started to surround the two, all having the same mark. 'I have to call Rider! But I can't, I don't have his cell number!' He thought as they continued towards an abandoned building. A man could be heard talking as they walked in "I'm worthless, it's true. A failure. I couldn't even keep this little factory's stores open long enough to turn a profit. There's no room for a person like me in today's world." As he finished the doors closed.
A woman walked towards the group and set down a bucket. She proceeded to open two bottles of some liquid and pour it in. A guy was walking up and had a jug of another liquid. Goggles noticed and remembered something his mother told him.
'Pay attention Goggles. These bottles may look the same' She held out a bottle with a gray line on the bottom. 'But this one is dangerous. Never mix the two of these together, understand? We could all get really sick and die if you do. Do not mix them up!'
"No, stop it! Don't do that!" He yelled as he threw his bag to the side and started to run towards the woman but was stopped by Prince. "This is a sacred ceremony and we can't have you interrupting it." "But those chemicals are really dangerous! If you mix them together everyone here could die!" "Yes, and we're all gonna go on a wonderful journey to a magnificent new world." The yellow squid continued as he brought his arm out. "Don't see what an amazing opportunity this is? We can finally get rid of these bodies that hold us back. Oh Goggles, in a little while you'll understand too." Goggles looked scared as everyone in the room clapped and eventually yelled "Let go of me!" and broke free from Prince's grip. He ran towards the woman with the bucket and grabbed it and threw it out the window, breathing heavily after.
Goggles heard the other container drop to the floor and turned around to see the ground walked towards him as if they were zombies. He backed into the wall and tried to open the window only for it to be jammed and then he shuffled to the side and noticed that he was in front of a door. He opened it and locked it behind him as the others kept banging on the door. The blue squid looked around, terrified as he saw some kind of smoke or fog and heard jibberish. He backed up into some TVs and felt familiars crawl on him as they came out. "Someone help me! Help me!" He yelled as he was then brought further in the labyrinth.
An eye opened to look at Goggles as he now looked like a cartoon character. He was floating around and spun around, going downwards. He kept going as some familiars brought down a tv towards him. It showed flashing images as he was turned upside down and shown images of Specs transforming and he began to think 'I wonder if this is my punishment for being a coward and a liar.' The images kept changing as it began to show his death. 'I guess this is what I deserve.' The other tv showed up in front of him, showing his reflection as 5 familiars grabbed him and started to stretch his arms, legs, and part of his tentacles.
Suddenly, 3 blue blasts came out of nowhere and got rid of the familiars. Goggles looked around to try and see who it was but they went past and attacked the tv, which was apparently the witch. The blue squid turned back to normal as he saw who it was. "Bobble?!"
Goggles looked at her in surprise as she looked back at him before continuing with fighting the witch. It sent out more familiars which were easily defeated. Bobble went above the witch and attacked it from the side as it flew down. She went after it as she yelled "You're so going down!" before sending a sword flying towards it and defeating it. Rider appeared on top of a lamppost near the two. Meanwhile, Everyone in the building had fainted.
"Yeah, sorry I'm late. I guess I cut it too darn close, didn't I?" Bobble said while having a smile on her face. "Bobble.... your clothes...." "Huh? Oh, well I could say I sorta had a chance of heart." The female squid said as she laughed awkwardly. The male squid sounded like he was about to cry before Bobble said "Don't worry, I'll be okay. I mean, I did a good job on my first time out didn't I?" "Yeah but..."
The two heard a footstep and turned towards it to see Rider. "How could you?" The yellow-green squid said bitterly. "You're late, transfer student," Bobble said as she gave the male a look. Rider remained as the wind continued to blow.
Meanwhile, Headphones woke up and looked at her hand and was surprised when she was able to move it.
At the same time, Kyubey was with someone. "I didn't expect you to show up." He said as the person ate a sweet of some type. "I came all this way because I heard ol' Specs bottled. So why don't you tell me something, what's the deal huh? This ain't anything like you said!" "Sorry but this territory has been taken over by another magical squid. They made a contract with me a little while ago." "What the hell! That pisses me off! I mean, I couldn't live with myself if I just handed prime territory like this over to some rookie. That'd be crazy." "What are you going to do Mask?" "Simple, I'll just kick their dumb rookie ass out of commission."
