"Hey Annabeth," Percy whispered in her ear, keeping his eyes trained on the movie. She rolled her eyes and resisted the urge to slap him. He'd probably scream and ruin the movie for the mobs of elementary schoolers and antsy parents that joined them in the theatre.
"What," she growled lowly, knowing exactly what he was going to say.
"Do you want popcorn?"
She tore her eyes away from the screen to meet his. They were wide and hopeful.
"No, I don't. You've asked me that four times Percy. Four!" She whisper yelled at him. "If you want popcorn, just go get some for yourself!"
He pouted, slinking farther into the movie seat. "I thought you might have changed your mind," he whined. "And I only want some if you want some."
She shook her head and sighed at his antics before turning back to the screen, wishing she understood what was happening. Percy had been distracting her from the film since they sat down twenty minutes ago.
Five minutes later, she felt a finger prodding her repetitively. She ignored it. "Hey, hey Wise Girl-" She clenched her jaw and waited for the inevitable. "Do you want any popcorn?"
Annabeth was smart enough to realize that he was too stubborn to admit he wanted some and too persistent to stop asking, so with a forced smile she responded with a 'yes.' Percy grinned. "I knew it," he smirked, popping up out of his seat and finding his way toward the aisle. Annabeth hid her face at the couple of angry grumbles he received a result, hiding in the depths of her burgundy turtleneck.
Yep, that was her boyfriend. Making parents mad at a showing of Big Hero 6. He really just couldn't help not getting into trouble.

Percy whistled to himself as he pushed open the theatre doors into the hallway; he followed the path, a bounce in his step as he neared the lobby.
It was large and spacious, the royal purple carpets bathed in the warm tones of dusk that bounced off the glistening snow outside. A column of light ran from the entrance windows up to the concession stand, illuminating the rows of candy. The demigod brushed a stray piece of hair out of his eyes- he really needed a haircut- eyeing the menu above as he strode over to the shortest line, with only a guy and his daughter in front of him.
He was so preoccupied in whether or not he should spend the extra three dollars on the Bonus Combo Pack with popcorn, a drink, and a candy that he didn't notice when they left, leaving a gaping hole in the line.
"Um, can I help you?" a timid voice called out from behind the counter after a few moments, awkwardly trying to fill the silence.
Percy's head snapped back down violently; upon noticing he was alone he jolted forward, slightly embarrassed. "Sorry," he apologized cheekily to the tall brunette, before grinning in recognition.
"Wait- you're in my lit class, aren't you? It's... uh, don't tell me- Heather, right?"
The girl blushed, glancing distractedly at the register. She hadn't been expecting him to recognize her.
"Yeah, that's me," she said awkwardly, picking at a peeling label on the register.
Percy beamed and bounced on the heels of his feet, proud of himself for remembering the small detail. "Sweet, I'm Percy," he replied eagerly before shoving his hands in his pockets.
She raised an eyebrow and laughed despite herself. "Yeah, I know. I think Mr. Hall screams it three times a day, at the least."
The demigod shrugged. "Hey, I try."
