I had to admit allt his running back and fort was becoming a little bit stressfull.
Having put Justins letter in my backpack I left the stables, once again.
Seeing as no one would die if I visited Jesper later Blaze took the road up the cliff to look for Loretta. If she was not laying dead somewhere I would be mayorly annoyed.

"What are you doing here?!" Somebody shoued at me.
Turnig around in the sadle I saw Loretta sitting on her white horse, not a hair in the wrong place.
"I'm looking for you... Tan sent me."
Loretta looked startled for a minute. "That was kind of her... of you. Maybe you are okay after all."
I snorted. Her approval didn't matter to me.
"Listen." Loretta began. "I'm sorry if I have been hard on you. Thanks for the help, even if I didn't really need it."

A moment of silence followed. At least she had apologized, sort of.

"I guess we should head back?" Loretta stated after a while, breaking the uncomfortable silence.
I nodded.
"Ughh, this is boring. Let's race?" She suggested. "Last one to Tan is a loser, and that will obviously be you."
Well that was it for the kindness. I would show her. "Absolutely."

Loretta counted backward from ten. Blaze was almost jumping in anticipation. I guess he wanted to win this just as much as I.
Att one he threw himself down the path leading down the cliffs. Like the wind itself, I almost though we were flying. The cold wind made my eyes water and I wasn't able to see how Loretta was doing.

"HA!" Someone was cheering before me. Blinking a few times I realized we where back at the stables and Loretta smiled smugly. "I told you I was going to win! I am the best! You will never beat me, hoooray for me!"

Tan walked up besides us and gave Loretta a quick high-five. The two emidietly started chatting. Not dure wether I should stay or go I wriggled in my sadle uncomfortably.
Tan looked up at me thoughtfully. "Maybe you could do the Wild Bobcats Track after all... It's our finest track. But make sure to remember that you're not a Bobcat Girl so don't feel bad if you don't beat our high scores."
Loretta laughed. "I mean, no one can!" She flipped her hair.
Tan smiled proudly. "There's no shame in losing to a Bobcat, just accept that when we are around you're always second best."
Slightly annoyed at them I threw Loretta a look and said. "Well I don't have time right now. Justin asked me to do something for him."
With a last look at their stunned faces I decided it was time for me to play messenger.
