We rode towards the big advertising board and just as the man said, a big  construction site appeared.

Mr Kembell was that kind of person you probably just wanted to punch in the face. Well, at least that's what I wanted to.

"Ah! What do we have here? A cute little stable girl dares to come all the way up here? What do you want then? Sabotage my powerful machines in a pathetic attempt to save your little pile of planks that you call a stable?"

He smirked at me and continued before I had the chance to say something.
"Don't you worry little girl, we will tear the stable down and build new houses all over the land that we will sell for fabulous amounts of money, rather excellent, isn't it? I'll be rich and the Moorlands won't get a dime. I even get to watch them cry as I burn the stables down!"
His laugh got my stomach to turn around. Great, right?
I completely understood the bad-names he had been given by the Moorlands.

"I'm not here to destroy your things" I answered him. "I just...-"

"Oh, you're not here to cause trouble? Really?" Hia voice was full of sarcasm.

"I just want a bulldozer..-" He didn't let me talk long this time either.

"You want me to send a bulldozer? You're a funny little girl" Kembell laughed again.

"Just clear the western road so I can rescue my friend!"
He smirked again. "I really should ask you for an outrageous amount of money but you don't look like you have it. I guess I was going to have that road cleaned anyway. I'm waiting for the wreaking crew to come, and this rockslide will force them to take a detour. But if you want my help you have to do something for me first. I never give anything away for free, you see."

He laughed again, right into my face.
"You see all these ugly trees? They must be cut down to make room for our machines and the new buildings. Take this red tape and mark four trees that we will chop down. Do that and I promise I'll send a bulldozer to clear the road"
"You promise?"
"Didn't I just say that, girl?"

Blaze walked away from the man, obviously not liking him either. "Good boy." I petted him.

Even if I of course did not wanted to cut down the trees,  it was needed to save Loretta.
Which I unfortunately had to do.

I marked four trees with the tape, as he'd said and rode back. Hopefully he would send the bulldozer as soon as possible.

Mr Kembell smirked even worse when I told him I was done.
"Good. Maybe you should think about working for us here at the G.E.D? We're always looking for people willing to destroy and exploit nature..-"

"The bulldozer" I reminded him.
"Huh? I don't remember any promise" He laughed. "Teaches you not to trust anyone. Anyway I had already given the order to send the bulldozer, so one could say you did all this for nothing. See!" He pointed behind me. "Here it goes!"
The giant yelliw bulldozer left the constructsite.
