Loretta was trying imensly hard not to glare too much at me as I approached her. She looked about to spit out an insult so I quickly thew my hands, and reins, up. "I'm just here to train."
Loretta said nothing.
"On the track..?" I went on a bit puzzled. "You know the Bobcat one?"
Loretta's glare intensified. "I kbow what the trak is, sweetie."
Then why are you staring at me? "Then why are you looking at me like that?" I asked out loud.
"Well..." Loretta said, it looked like she was about to throw up. "We, you know, the Bobcats, voted. Apparently Justin thibk's you're crazy good and awsome."
At this poit I was sure she'd have loved to ride over me. She looked absolutely sick
"He think's you deserve it. So I guess I'll have to say..." She gave me a menecing look and spoke so quickly I barely heard her. "Welcometotheclubyou'reabobcatnow."
"Moa..." A dry voice came from behind me. Turning in my sadle I saw Tan approaching us holding a pink bobcat jacket over her arm. "Welcome to the club." She said without sounding the tiniest bit welcoming. Tan threw the jacket at me, making Blaze stir. "Here you are, a bobcat jacket. But..." She and Loretta exchanged looks. "Maybe don't wear it all the time, yeah? We get it's cool and all but we can't have newbies damage our reputation."
"Thanks." I said icily. I was pretty sure I didn't want to wear their club jacket.
I signaled for Blaze in to a tense canter.
