Myrtle walked into the police station as innocently as she could, trying her best to seem nervous and to hide her face. She approached the receptionist and as timidly as she could asked to speak to a detective. She'd identified herself, asked for privacy and clearly stated that she feared for her life and would only speak to a detective or the constable superintendent. She was sat now in an interrogation room, holding herself as if to pretend it was chilly and waiting for the arrival of the constable superintendent. She'd played it as safe as possible, travelling to another state and hiring an airbnb before changing her outfit and finding her way to the nearest police station. This was far enough from the cottage and would do for now.

About forty five minutes later, the constable superintendent was sat across from her, a friendly smile on his face. She was too busy playing shy and nervous and scared to smile back.

"I came as soon as I heard you'd need to question me." She timidly says, wringing her hands nervously

"I just have a few questions for you Ms. Robson. That's all." Callum assures the shy timid woman before him

"I don't want any trouble sir. if she killed him, she could kill me too." She shakily says picking at the edge of the table with her finger nervously

"Do you think she did it?" He pries

A long pause follows as she nervously looks about the room. There was a double sided mirror and she couldn't tell which melange of people stood on the other side of it, watching her interrogation. She wanted to imagine that Makenna was there, that Miss Universe was there too.

"I... I don't know." she finally whispers, shaking her head

"All I know is that he's dead and he'd told me on several occasions that he thought she was trying to kill him." She shrugs as innocently as possible

In a matter of minutes Myrtle is crying as she explains the innocent way her affair with Dionysius Plutarch had started, and that she was a good person who had just happened to fall in love with her boss, and he happened to be married. She explained how working at Sius after he left had been unbearable because she was in constant fear that Mrs. Plutarch had somehow found out about the affair and would punish or harm her. She explained in detail how cruel her new boss and Mrs. Plutarch had been up to the point of firing her. How Dionysius had left her all these love notes and how his relationship with Sophie Stanislavsky had essentially been a ploy for the cameras to protect Myrtle from any kind of rumour of an affair. She asked severally that her transcript be made private because she was scared, of Makenna Plutarch, of the press, of the shareholders of Sius and the general public.

Callum sat there, listening, soothing her, writing down as much as he could. When she was finally somewhat calm from all the crying, he sighed and asked her.

"What about the day he disappeared?" watching her closely for any sign of guilt or fear

She shakes her head nervously, tears balancing in her eyes

"It's just you and me Ms. Robson, you can tell me. Did you see him on the day?" Callum pries

She shakes her head again

"When was the last time you saw him?" He inquires

"The last time I saw him he told me he had a case that would prove that the Stakeholders were... were being corrupt. he... he said it was something big...big enough that they might end up in jail and he needed a detective he could trust..." she sniffles

"Did he show you the evidence or tell you which of his shareholders?" Callum asks, deeply curious now

She shakes her head, wiping the tears off her face clumsily
