Amelia's P.O.V
Ever since that kiss with Draco I can't stop thinking about him, only Hermione knows about it, though. I don't really like the idea of hiding things from Harry but he'll be so angry if I tell him, he might even forbid me from seeing him, which would not be good. Hermione says she hates him, but because I like him she'll put up an effort for me, which is really nice, she really is an amazing friend. Christmas is drawing closer, and the weather has become cold and icy, it even started snowing! I'd never seen snow before this, and I have to say is was awesome! Harry has still been attached to that book, he takes it everywhere with him, and I'm not even joking. He also has no desire to find out who this 'half-blood prince' is, he must be insane!

"Hey, Amy? Do you want to come to Hogsmeade with us? Because we're so bored." Harry asked, once he had put his beloved book away.
"OK then, I've nothing better to do anyway." I replied with a shrug, walking up to my dorm with Hermione to get a jacket, I was wearing this:[polyvore]
We both met the boys downstairs and we began journeying to Hogsmeade village, our signed permission slips folded in our hands, Dumbledore signed mine at the start of the year. Once Filch had reluctantly let us through, we strolled to the crouded streets. My feet crunched through the crisp, white snow and my arms were wrapped around myself, preventing any more cold from reaching me. Throughout the journey to Hogsmeade, Harry, Ron and Hermione were all in a massive argument about Harry's potions book, but I was just walking silently beside them, listening to the conversation.
"So you're addicted to this book, you practically sleep with the thing. Yet you have no desire to find out who the Half-Blood Prince actually is!" Hermione exclaimed and I chuckled slightly.
"As a matter of fact, I do desire to find out, and I don't sleep with it!" Harry argued and I raised my eyebrows.
"Oh Harry dear, but you do. I went into your room the other day to put your jumper back and the book was peaking out from under your pillow." I told them and Harry's face turned slightly pink as we laughed.
"But I was curious, so I went to the-" Harry, Ron and I interrupted Hermione.
"Library, and?" We all finished for her.
"And nothing! I couldn't find one simple reference to the 'Half-Blood Prince'." She replied, frustrated. Harry stopped the conversation when we saw Slughorn heading over to the Three Broomsticks.
"Anyone fancy a butterbeer?" Harry and I said in unison. I walked in between Harry and Hermione as all four of us walked through the streets filled with shops, stalls and pubs, all filled with excited Hogwarts students, rushing around the place, hands full of bags and boxes which they had bought. Harry pulled me into one of the pubs which had a creaky swinging sign on the outside that clearly said 'The Three Broomsticks' in curly writing. Inside the pub was warm and cozy, sheilding the guests and visitors from the sharp cold weather, there was large wooden tables big enough to fit four people on it dotted around, a blazing fire stood in the corner, the flames flickered swiftly creating flashing shadows on the walls and floors. Over in the next corner I saw Slughorn sipping from a cup of ale, telling his interesting stories to the people he sat with, who laughed along with him. Harry chose a table near the stairs where he could keep and eye on Slughorn, but he soon started glaring at something behind me, I turned my head to see none other than Draco Malfoy, his stare directed dangerously at Harry. When he took one glance at me however, his glare softened and a small sparkle appeared in his eyes, I gave him a small smile, our gazes only tearing when he carriedon walking into the bathrooms. I twisted myself back towards the others and Harry was looking at me sternly.
"What was that?" He demanded, looking me straight in the eyes.
"What was what?" I asked, pretending to be clueless.
"You just smiled at him, and he didn't glare at you." I bit my lip but kept eye contact with him, to tell him I'm not lying, even though I was.
"It wasn't a smile! It was a... snide smirk. The cold must be getting to you, Harry." I lied smoothly, seeing Hermione smile knowingly beside me from the corner of my eye. Harry said nothing else of it, only sent me suspicious glanced every now and then. In the corner of the room sat Ginny and Dean, holding hands, being the cute couple they are, but Ron didn't think this.
"Bloody hell. What a slick git." Ron grumbled.
"Oh come on, Ron, they're only holding hands... And snogging." Hermione argued from beside me.
"I want to leave." He stated simply, glaring at Dean.
"What? You can't be serious." Hermione replied in disbelief.
"That happens to be my sister." He said shortly, unable to look away from the couple.
"So? If she saw you snogging me, would you expect her to get up and leave?" Hermione asked and I hid my smirk.

"Harry, my boy! Amelia, my dear. How are you?" Slughorn greeted, shaking both of our hands as we stood up.
"Evening sir, I'm very good thanks." Harry replied.
"And I'm well, sir. Yourself?" I asked, plastering a smile on my face.
"I'm good, I'm good. Now, I'm thinking of throwing the occasional supper party, would you both come?" He offered kindly.
"We'd be delighted, sir!" Harry answered cheerily, and I nodded next to him.
"Great, great. You're welcome too, Granger." He invited Hermione, who seemed surprised that he had spoken to her.
"That would be brilliant, sir." Hermione said politely, looking over to Ron who was rolling his eyes.
"Splendid, look for my owl!" He chuckled.
"Good to see you Walenby!" Slughorn greets Ron before exiting the pub and we sat down again, gaining strange looks from Ron.
"Dumbledore asked us to get to know him." I explained, resting my hands on the table. As we left the pub, I felt something slip into my back pocket, I looked up to see Draco passing behind me.
"Hermione? Can we go into the shoe shop? I need a new pair of boots, my other ones have holes in them." I made an excuse to the boys. She agreed and followed me inside the small, almost empty shop, which had about 30 shelves lining the walls, with hundreds of different types of shoes, resting on top of them.
"What did you bring me in here for? Because I know your boots don't have holes." Hermione raised her eyeborws at me, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I needed to get away from Harry and Ron. Draco put something in my pocket as we were walking." I informed her, reaching into my small fabric pocket at the back of my jeans. I pulled out a small square of parchment that was folded neatly so it would fit in my pocket. I opened the paper to see Draco's neat handwriting printed across the sheet, here's what it said.

Amelia,
We have to talk, meet me in the Room of Requirements once back at Hogwarts, I'll be waiting.
~Draco

Hermione took the note from my hands, reading it for herself, a smile forming on her lips once she had.
"What do you think he wants to talk about?" She asked, obviously trying not to giggle.
"I don't know. It could be anything. We better head back, the boys will be wondering where we are." I suggested, pulling her out of the shop.
"Can't wait to see Malfoy?" She teased, and I rolled my eyes.
"Oh shut it!" I exclaimed and we dropped the subject when the boys approached us.
"We better be getting back. You could catch a cold." Harry told me, walking back to the track which lead to Hogwarts.
"Did you hear her say about us snogging? As if." Ron snorted, refering to Hermione who then wrapped her arms around their shoulders, as I did to Harry. But an ear-splitting scream interrupted us, we looked ahead to see Katie Bell sprawled across the snow covered ground, a package laying beside her.
"I told her! I told her not to touch it!" Her friend shouted, backing up into a wall. We were about to go and help when Katie flew into the air, her long black hair flying around her, her mouth was stretched wide open until momens later she fell back to the floor.
"Don't go any closer! Yeh hear me?" The voice of Hagrid boomed behind us. We moved out of his way as he lifted the unconsious Katie from the floor. Harry went to pick up the necklace in the box but Hagrid prevented him from doing so.
"And don't touch that! Accept from the wrappin's." He warned us as he carried Katie back to the castle.

Once we were inside the safety of the school, all four of us were sent to Professor Mcgonagle's office to be spoken to about the incident with Katie. The teacher let us into her office and we stood in a line, all silent under the professor's stare.
"Why is it, when something bad happens, it's always you three? And I see you've brought Amelia into it too." Mcgonagle asked them.
"Believe me professor, I've been asking myself the same question for six years." Ron said and a small smile tugged on my lips.
"Severus? What do you think?" Mcgonagle asked Snape, who was examining the necklace.
"I think Miss Bell is lucky to be alive." He told her, putting the jewelry back in the box.
"She was cursed, right?" I spoke up curiously.
"Yes, she was cursed." Mcgonagle concluded, turning back to us again.
"It was Malfoy." Harry accused and I stared at him, wide eyed, but he didn't seem to notice.
"That is a serious accusation. Your evidence?" Snape asked, his eyebrows raised high on his forehead.
"I just know it." Harry answered simply and I rolled my eyes.
"You just... know. Once again you surprise me with your gifts. Gifts that muggles only dream of having. How amazing it must be to be the Chosen One." Snape sneered at Harry who quietened down.
"Now, you should all go to your dormitries, all four of you." Mcgonagle told us and we obeyed her, going back to the common room. Hermione and I ran back up to our dorm to get changed out of our soaked, cold clothes into something more comfortable. I changed into this:[polyvore]
"You better get going, I'll cover for you." Hermione said, pushing me out the door.
"Thanks, your a great best friend." I smiled running out from the common room before anyone could ask where I was going. I walked through the seventh floor corridors until I reached the wall where the room of requirements was. I strolled past the wall three times before the huge oak doors appearedin front of me, I pushed them open, revealing a large room, but it didn't look like it was inside at all. There was lush green grass on the floor, flower beds full of red rose bushed lined the outside, right in the middle was a small waterfall. The chrystal clear waters trickled down the grey stone and splashed into the pond below, which had lilypads floating on the surface, it was really beautiful. I heard some gentle footsteps behind me and a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist. I smiled and span on the spot to see Draco stood there, his arms still aroung me.
"I was beginning to think you weren't coming." He whispered to me.
"Sorry about that, we got a bit caught up. Did you hear about Katie Bell?" I replied and he stiffened a bit.
"She got cursed, from a necklace someone gave her, she was delivering it to Dumbledore. Not knowingly of course. She touched it, Harry, Ron, Hermione and I were there when it happened, it was quite frightening." I explained further and his grip on me tightened.
"Well, that seems rather odd. But anyway, I need to talk to you." He changed the subject, his icy blue eyes boring into my bright green ones.
"What about?" I asked quietly, placing my hands in his chest.
"About that kiss, did you feel anything?" I smiled at the memory, the tingly feeling returning.
"I felt, electricity, fireworks, chiming bells, exploding cannons, the whole lot. Did you feel anything?" I threw the question back.
"I felt all of that, and I felt that I need to protect you, like you were meant to be in my arms. So I wanted to ask, be mine?" My heart fluttered at the question, so I did the first thing I though of. I leaned up and kissed him, putting my arms around his neck and standing on my tip-toes so I could reach him.
"So I can take that as a yes?" He asked and I nodded, making a wide grin form on his face. He gently lifted me off the floor and span me around, his lips finding mine again. He kissed me softly, still holding me in the air so I was just taller than him, my hands were tangled in his platinum blonde hair and he set me down on the floor again, pulling away.
"You should get back, Potter will be worried." He whispered in my ear, kissing me one last time
