Amelia's P.O.V
So we've destroyed the Diadem, finally. Now it's only Nagini, then he'll be mortal once more, and that's when we'll kill him. But our problem now is how we're going to kill the snake, Voldemort's very protective of her and won't let her out of his sight. We'll probably have to go inside of his head and find out where he is. That's a start right? I'm going to get questioned by Draco now, he saw the whole thing, he saw me destroy the Horcrux, he saw me go into his head. He must be so confused right now, I'll have to tell him later, because we're a bit pre-occupied at the minute. As much as I want to tell him, we have no time, we have to kill the snake or we won't be able to defeat Voldemort. Why is everything so difficult? And why do I feel pain and get weaker when a Horcrux is destroyed? So many unanswered questions...
I laid my head back on Draco's chest and closed my eyes, my arms limp by my side. Hermione, who had noticed me in this state, knelt beside the two of us, looking at me in concern.
"Amy? What is it?" She asked me kindly and I rubbed my aching eye lids, forcing them open wide.
"I just feel really weak, it happened after I stabbed the diadem." I explained breathlessly, digging my nails into my thick, woolen jumper.
"Why did you stab it? And why did that weird smoke come out of it?" Draco asked and I bit chered on my bottom lip, tearing of part of the top layer of skin with my pearly white teeth.
"I'll have to explain later, there's no time now. I'm sorry." I told him sadly before turning to Harry, Ron and Hermione. Harry was also still on the floor, leaning against a wall, the other two where standing up, watching me and my twin. I pushed myself up and shakily stood up, Draco putting his arm carefully around my waist to help me. After I did this, I didn't feel as weak, but not all of it had gone. I could manage of course, I would have to, wouldn't I?
"Go into his mind, find out where he is. If we can find him, we can find the snake." Ron said and I nodded along with Harry. Draco didn't question me at all about this, he knew that I would tell him everything once it was over, so he left it alone for the time being. I forced my mind to travel into Voldemort's without him noticing. I saw through his eyes, not just like I was in the room with them. It was like I was Voldemort himself. I shut my eyes and quickened my breathing, as looking into someone's mind takes a lot of energy, Harry and I both knew this from previous experiences.
I was in a room, a docking station for the boats, to be exact. And there, stood in front of me- well, Voldemort, was Lucius Malfoy. Fear shining in his eyes. His face was covered in dirt which was also tangled in his white-blonde hair. His clothes were ripped and ragged. His face showed that he was about to say something very risky to Voldemort, and he was one of the only ones who dared to do such a thing.
"My Lord?" The man croaked, his voice raspy and sore. "Might it be... erm... Wouldn't it be more prudent to call of the attack on the school? Just seek the children out on your own?" Lucius asked nervously, stuttering and stammering as he began talking.
"I won't need to seek the children, Lucius, they will come to me before the night is gone! Do you understand?" Voldemort replied angrily, rushing up to Malfoy and hitting him painfully on the arm, making him wince.
"Look at me! Now! How can you live with yourself, Lucius Malfoy?" You-Know-Who asked, his voice quieter than before.
"I-I don't know, my Lord." Lucius whispered, making Voldemort snarl.
"Get Severus. Bring him here! To me!" Voldemort hissed making Lucius nod and rush off.
I ripped my mind from his and my eyes snapped open in sync with Harry, we both looked at each other before speaking.
