Amelia's P.O.V
Ever since the Quidditch match a couple of weeks back, Hermione's been awful. After Gryffindor won the match there was a party in the common room, and there Lavender Brown started smooching our dear Ronniekins right in front of Hermione. She was crying all night until the next morning, poor girl, hopefully I'll be able to cheer her up though. And as for Draco and I, Harry has said that he would accept our relationship, but that didn't mean he was happy about it. I see him everyday now, and other Gryffindors have started to notice, so now I get a few disappointed glares occasionally.
"Hermione?" I said in a sing-song voice, as a wide smile formed on my lips."Yes?" She answered, annoyed that I interrupted her studying.
"You won't be using that tone when you find out what I've come up with." I laughed at her interested expression.
"I'm listening..." She trailed off, setting down her ink and quill.
"Well, how would you feel if I gave Ron and Lavender's relationship a bit of a... spark." I emphasized on the word 'spark'.
"What do you have in mind?" She grinned at the evil look lingering on my face.
"All will be revealed soon enough, oh how I'm grateful for spending time with Fred and George." I tapped my fingers on her desk.
"Wow, evil Amy has finally come out of hibernation." Hermione laughed, looking up at me as I was standing.
"Oh yes she has, for a limited time only." I replied slowly, leaning against the wall behind me.
"So I will begin my shenanigans very soon." I said before pulling Hermione out of the dorm and down to the common room. I plopped down next to Harry on one of the sofa's, resting my feet on the table in front of me.
"Hey Harry? Do you know where Ron is?" I asked as innocently as I could.
"He's with Lavender, why?" He replied and I smiled.
"Perfect." I muttered under my breath, hoping Harry wouldn't hear.
"What was that?"
"Oh nothing." I said quickly, trying to cover up what I was planning.
I bid both of them goodbye before leaving the common room and set of to find Ron and Lavender. Oh are they in for a surprise. I journeyed throughout the castle until I found the two snogging in the hallway to charms. I held back the gags as I looked away from the repulsive sight, they were really going at it! I silently slipped my wand from my pocket and held it by my side a I peeked around the corner, pointing the tip of it towards the couple who looked as though they were eating each others faces, how charming. I muttered the spell and watched as the bright yellow sparks shot through both of them, but they were too occupied to notice. An amused smirk grew on my lips, one that Draco Malfoy would be proud of. The two finally broke apart for air (which they hadn't done for several minutes) but soon leaned in for another kiss, but only this time electricity struck them apart, it wouldn't hurt them, only shock them slightly, which was my ambition of course. Both Ron and Lavender started wide eyed at each other, their mouths hanging open. I placed my wand back in my pocket and hid the laugh that was creeping into me and a calm expression replaced it, I walked around the corner and casually made my way over to the gaping couple."Hey guys, how're you doing?" I asked, sitting in between them.
"W-we're fine, I-I think?" Ron answered and a look of fake concern struck my face.
"What's wrong? Has anything happened?" They genuinely believed my act, I did not see that coming.
"Well, we were just about to kiss when these electric sparks blew us apart." Lavender explained, confusion lacing her voice.
"Ooo, that's not good, not very good at all! Tut tut tut." I waggled my finger at them, standing in front of them both.
"Why?! What is it?!" Ron asked urgently, probably not noticing the smile that appeared on my lips for a second.
"You have what's called the electroom, it's when two people have been... snogging too much." I said, almost laughing at the dumbstruck looks that plastered their faces.
"C-can it be c-cured?" Lavender stamered, looking at me hopefully.
"Yes, it can, you both need to drink a blended concoction of sheeps brain, ground toads and horse dung." I told them calmly, drinking this wouldn't help nor harm them in any way, shape or form, it would just be amusing.
"Isn't there any other way?!" Lavender squeaked, obviously horrified at the thought of having to drink that.
"I'm afraid not, unless you want to carry on like this...?" I trailed off and they both shook their heads rapidly.
"Today, you're both in luck! I seem to have two vials of the potion with me." I said cheerily, seeing Hermione and Harry watching from the corner of my eye. I handed Ron and Lavender a bottle of the putrid liquid each and smiled innocently at them. They were reluctant at first, but after some encouragement from Harry and I, they finally tipped the drink down their throats, their faces twisting in disgust.
"Oh and I may of left out one tiny detail." I laughed, biting my lip.
"What?! What did you forget?!" Ron rushed, his eyes as wide as golf balls.
"You can't kiss for two months..." I shrugged like it was nothing, but they disagreed.
"And you didn't think to tell us this earlier?!" Lavender exclaimed, her voice high and squeaky.
"Hey! I'm only human! I forget things!" I defended, putting my hands up.
Soon afterwards Ron and Lavender left, their mouths stretched into frowns as they walked slowly away from us. Once they were out of sight, I couldn't hold it in anymore, I fell into a fit of hysterical laughter.
"Did-did you... see they're f-faces?" I managed to choke out tears coming to my eyes. Hermione jumped over to me grinning as she enclosed me in a hug.
"That was amazing! Thanks Amy!" She thanked me and I hugged her back, calming down from laughing.
