Amelia's P.O.V
Last night was quite entertaining, apart from when Ron kept on going on and on about his new possition on the quidditch team. But Hermione decided to find out who the old potions book belonged to, but Harry started running away and kept on making excuses for her not to touch it. ("The binding is... fragile.") I never knew Harry was that bad of a liar. Ginny was the one to ruin it for Harry (and for me slightly, I was amused watching Harry run away from Hermione) and snatched the book from him, declaring that the book belonged to the half-blood prince, who was this guy anyway? Whoever he was he must've been kind of freaky as there was a spell written in there saying 'Sectumsempra: use this on enemies and/or those you have a particular hatred towards' now that was creepy, but noone of us had seen that spell before, ever. So whoever made it, had feelings of pure loathing towards others, and we weren't intending to see what it did. But I couldn't have said to same for other spells, like Harry was reading the book during the night and casted one of the spells he found on Ron, who was then levitated by his ankle, suspended in the air, aparently Seamus and Dean were cracking up. I wished I was there to see it!

Hermione and I were sat down on our beds, just talking about things that have been going on, I questioned her on her feelings for Ron, and to my greatest discontent, mine for Draco. Speaking of Draco, I haven't seen him lately, he's been 'very busy' as he told me, but he tries to find time to talk to me, which is quite sweet, if I say so myself.
"But you better not tell Harry, because if I go down I'm taking you with me!" I threatened, being completely serious, but she thought I was kidding.
"I'm not joking." I said, my eyebrows raised and my arms crossed.
"OK, OK. I wasn't going to tell him anyway." Hermione exclaimed in defense and I breathed a laugh, shaking my head.
"So what is it you like about him?" She asked, changing the subject.
"I don't know, there's just something about him that draws me to him, he's also really nice to me, but he isn't to anyone else which is quite strange..." I answered thoughtfully, trailing off into a sort of trance while thinking about Draco. Hermione clicked her fingers in front of my face, snapping me away from my thoughts.
"You were thinking about him weren't you? I though so. That just proves that you are basically head over heels for him." Hermione giggled and I looked at her oddly.
"What? No, I'm not! What makes you think that?" I turned my head to my lap to hide a blush that was creeping onto my face.
"You're in denial, but you'll see soon." She smiled and I shook my head.
"I'm going for a walk, do you want to come?" I asked, slipping a jumper over my shoulders and stuffing my wand in my pocket.
"I would but I have a lot of studying to do." She told me and I nodded.
"Alright, see you in about an hour." I bid her goodbye and left the room, having no idea where I was going to walk.

I made my way from the common room down to the Black Lake. I stood by the water and just looked out at the scenery. The trees were swaying in the wild breeze, the dark, sparkling water rippled across the surface and the baby blue sky was dotted with random pure whi fluffy clouds that shaped different animals and objects. I smiled at my hair flew around my shoulders freely and I closed my eyes, slowly spinning around in circles, letting all my senses focus. I breathed in the fresh, sweet air and sighed, wrapping my jacket tighter around me, blocking out the cold. My black curly hair whipped into my face as gusts of wind whistled in my ears. I tucked my knees to my chest and placed my arms around them, shuffling my feet on the lush green grass. I honestly didn't know why I decided to come down here, it just seemed like a nice place to be on an evening like this. I can just escape from the busy life at Hogwarts and have some calming time for myself, everyone does it at some point in their lives, it just lets you get on top of things. I rested my chin on my knees and fluttered my eyes close and just listened to the rush of the wind and trickling of the water in the Black Lake.

After a while I wanted to walk around for a bit, I lifted myself off the ground and brushed off my clothes before putting my hands in my pockets before carrying on to the other side of the lake, near the forest. I pulled my hood over my head, pushing my hair to either side of my neck so it fell from the outside of my hood. I stared at me feet a little as I strolled on the grass in between the lake and the forest for a while. It's nice having some time to yourself, it makes all your troubles just wash away, you know they'll be back again, but you savour every moment of the peace and quiet. I soon felt someone standing next to me, I looked up to see Draco staring back at me.
"Hey, Draco. How are you?" I greeted quietly and he looked slightly concerned.
"I'm fine thanks, but what are you doing out here? It's 9pm." He replied and I checked my watch. Wow, had I really been out here three hours?
"I must've got a bit carried away. And I could ask you the same." I breathed a laugh.
"I saw you out here, I thought you looked a bit lonely." He answered and I gazed up at him (yes, I'm very short) and smiled which he returned.
"So what have you been up to recently? I haven't seen you much." I asked and he sighed.
"I'm sorry about that, I've just been very busy. And that brother of yours obviously doesn't want me around you." His voice was kind at the start, but soon turned into a hiss when he mentioned Harry.
"And I apologise about him, he's just over protective, it gets kind of annoying sometimes, but I know he means well. But just because he does not want you near me, doesn't mean I don't. I like your company." I explained and he smiled again.
"Your really nice to be with, it feels like we've known each other for years. You can always make me smiled one way or another." I blushed and hid my face and we stopped walking. He put a finger under my chin to make me look up at him.
"Don't hide your beautiful face." He pleaded and the heat rose to my cheeks even more.
"I want to try something, close your eyes and don't move a muscle." He told me and I obeyed, wondering what he was going to do.
"Don't move." Draco whispered and I felt his sweet breath on my face. The next thing I knew a pair of soft, warm lips were on mine, I was startled at first but soon kissed back. Nuclear bombs exploded in my head, I could hear the sound of little bells twinkling in my ears and tingles waved through me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and his went around my waist. The kiss made my knees weaken under me, but Draco's gentle hold on me kept me standing. He was being so tender with me, like I could break at any moment, but I felt so safe in his arms, like nothing could hurt me while he was there. So there I was, Amelia Lily Potter, the twin sister of Harry James Potter (the over protective brother), kissing his sworn enemy, and I liked it. We pulled away and rested our foreheads together, he took one hand from my waist and stroked my hair carefully. So many emotions were running through me, and several thoughts were swimming in my mind. What have I gotten myself into? Harry hates him, won't even let him talk to me let alone kiss me! He's going to find out sooner or later, what the hell is he going to do then? One side of my mind argued but the other protested But it was amazing! That was my first kiss and it couldn't have gone better. Now I know what Hermione was talking about, I'm falling for him more every second. I listened to the second voice and pecked his lips once, he trailed his index finger along my cheek and kissed my forehead.
"I've got to go. We can talk about it later." He stated simply, closing the gap between us one last time before he ran off into the forest. I stared after him and sighed in content, a wide smile playing on my lips. After Draco had gone out of sight I walked back up to the castle and into the Gryffindor common room, where Harry, Ron and Hermione stood freaking out, as soon as they saw me, Hermione attacked me in a massive hug.
"Where have you been?! You said you would only be gone for an hour! And now you come back four hours later?!" She exclaimed pulling back.
"Sorry, I just lost track of time, that's all." I was quite good at lying, but Hermione could see right through it, as she had her back to the boys she mouthed 'we'll talk upstairs'.
"You have no idea how worried I was! I almost went to Dumbledore to say you were missing!" Harry brought me in for a massive bear hug as did Ron.
"What were you thinking staying out this long?! There could be dangerous people out there!" Ron scolded and I nodded.
"Sorry, it won't happen again." I apologised and they gave me a look that said 'It-Better-Not'. Hermione said that we should get to bed before running up the girls staircase with me. We sat on her bed, trying not to wake Pavarti and Lavender with out whisperes.
"Alright, tell me what happened, because I know you didn't lose track of time, there's something else." She said and I took a breath in.
"Well, I walked around for a while and I really did forget about the time, but then Draco found me. He said that he thought I looked a bit lonely so he walked with me, we talked for a while and he stopped us, saying that I shouldn't hide my face. He then said he wanted to try something, and he kissed me." I explained and her eyes widened.
"He what? Did you feel anything?" She asked and I nodded, looking down at my hands.
"I felt bombs going off in my head, there was bells chiming and I felt all tingly." I informed her and she smiled.
"See what I mean now? Your falling for him, I think it's very cute." She complimented and the corners of my lips turned up into a smile, all that she said was true.
