Such a perfect perfect night

Nikki's p.o.v
My hands hesitated to knock on the apartment door of Cora's place. I did it anyways and waited for her to the answer the door. "Hey." She simply answered holding herself against the door frame. "Hey. Can I come in?" I asked her hoping she would say yes. She took a glance behind her and said " look Adele gets back in like 30 minutes. I don't want her to walk in on us again." Cora tells me. I chuckle at her thought of us ripping each other's clothes off. Is that all she thinks of me? "Actually I was gonna talk to you about something." I say. She looks at me confused. "I'm not gonna do that wheelbarrow sex position that you wanted me to do with you." Cora states letting me in the apartment which still amazes me at the fact that it was mine 2 years ago. "No no it's not about that. But on that note, I wanna try new shit with you." I smirked devilishly at her. "Uhh no. Not that one. Is that really what you came here to talk to me about?" She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest. I laughed at how cute she looked when she was annoyed. It's funny cause it's one of the traits I wasn't fond of of her but now it's cute cause she always does this towards me. "Look, I came here to talk to you about tonight." I begin. "What about tonight?" She replied asking me. "Well you have to come on a date with me." I said casually as if nothing. "Wait what date?" Cora asked confused. "Look I know that ever since we agreed to be a p.r couple, we haven't done much about it. It doesn't even look believable." I say. "Well that's the way it should be. I don't want to be seen with the likes of you. At least not couple wise." She said plopping down on her sofa. I take a moment to roll my eyes and sigh. "Look Doc said we had to be doing things couples do. That includes dates. So I'm asking you to go on a date with me tonight." I finished explaining to her. Damn why does she have to be so damn stubborn. "Fine, where at?" Is all she asks lighting a joint she took from the table beside her. "I'm not gonna tell you, just get ready. I'll wait here for you."

"Well how do I know if I'm dressed right for the occasion if you won't tell me where we're going?" Cora exhaled her smoke. "Trust me, just wear anything you think suits the night." I smirked at her. "If you say so. Here finish this while I get ready." She holds out  the joint between her fingers for me to grab. Well fuck it, I guess I'll be high before our date, she already is. It's only fair to be equal. I inhaled the smoke and let it swirl it's way into my lungs. Once I finished the joint I was kind of blown. I stood up and walked over to a shelf that had pictures of the girls on them. I looked at a picture of Cora and the girls at a gig. I laughed at how young they looked in this picture. It reminded me of the guys and I in our early days. My hands picked up a framed photo of Cora.

She looked so beautiful. So innocent. "Hey Sixx I'm ready." I heard Cora's voice speak behind my shoulder. I quickly put her frame back and turned around to see her walking out of her room fully dressed. My mouth watered at the sight in front of me. I was about to tell her that we should skip the date and just make our way back into her room. "Wow, you look....s-so good." I stutter and clear my throat. "Thank you Nikki."Cora simply smiled and grabbed her purse. "Shall we?" I say and let her lead the way out of her apartment.

Cora's p.o.v
I covered my lips in red lipstick. This outfit should be cute enough for any occasion. I stood up from my vanity and put on my black heels and some silver hoops for earrings. I thought this was enough to add to my look. I sprayed some perfume on me before putting on my leather jacket. "Hey Sixx I'm ready!" I yelled as I opened my room door. I felt him immediately burn holes through my body. Nikki's eyes roamed intensely all over me. Finally they met mine. "Wow you look....s-so good." He spoke giving me goosebumps with just his deep voice. I smiled at him and hid the blush creeping on my cheeks as I grabbed my purse. "Thank you Nikki." I responded. "Shall we?" He said moving out of the way for me to lead him out. We walked outside to his car and got in quickly. "So where are we going?" I asked putting my seatbelt on as I watched him pop a cassette into his radio. "You'll see." Is all he said before No one like you by The Scorpions played from the speakers. "It took no more than 10 minutes to get to the Motley house. "Sorry I have to change. I can't have you stealing the spotlight." Nikki turned his engine off and chuckled. I rolled my eyes playfully  and laughed as well. "Hey hey hey. I can steal the spotlight if I want to baby. Just remember that." I winked at him and followed him to the front door which he unlocked. No cars were there so I'm assuming everybody was out. "This will take me no more than 5 minutes." Nikki told me running up the stairs. And just like he said he came down in a matter of minutes.
