"Why are you sleeping here, alone, in the evening and with this weather ?" The older asks worried.

"None of your fucking business."

"You're barely covered though. You'll catch a cold."

"Pff nonsens-- aaatchoo!"

"Exactly. So now get your ass in that damn car, this instant." Taehyung demands sternly.

"Hell no go fuck yourself somewhere." The younger answers angrily.

Taehyung absolutely abhors the idea of Jungkook getting sick. Speaking of which, Taehyung is sick of seeing the younger in bad states. He wants him to be healthy and happy because this is what he deserves. No more suffering. That's it. He gets out of his car and carries Jungkook forcefully.

"LET ME GO I'LL RIP YOUR HEAD OFF !!" He screams as he hits Taehyung's back and head.

Surprisingly enough, the older manages to get the raging maknae and his belongings in his car.

"Hmph. " The maknae scoffs as he looks away while Taehyung buckles his seatbelt with strength.

"What are you looking through the window for ?"

"Nothing much I'm just looking for my goddamn consent." Jungkook answers angrily as he forcefully tries to open the car's door to no avail.

"Fine. Do you have somewhere to go then ? I'll drop you there." The hyung gives in.

"Y-yeah I do."

"What's the address ?"

"I-It's a... street... y-yeah a street uuh i-in--"

"Yeah right we're going to my suite." Taehyung says not believing a single word uttered by his dongsaeng.

Jungkook ends up giving up with a big sigh and looking at the landscape of New York at night instead of paying attention to the older.

Taehyung smiles slightly for his victory and turns the radio on. A song is playing. 'Paper Hearts'.

He sings along with Jungkook who subconsciously joins. They form a beautiful harmony with Tori Kelly's voice. Both of them don't want this moment to end even though one of them wouldn't admit it.

The younger feels his heart warm up whenever he is with Taehyung. He loves this feeling deep down even though his inner self is yelling insults at him for being dumb and weak. Therefore he stops relaxing and singing as he keeps his eyes on the landscape with a tense body. After some time they get to the hotel.

"Here we are bunny."

"Shut up don't call me that."

"Ok your wish is my command bunny."

He says with an adorable boxy smile that makes Jungkook's heart flutter.
The younger sighs heavily at the older's childish behaviour and gets out of the car with his belongings.
Suddenly a flash erupts in Jungkook's mind. During a millisecond, he sees the face of a little boy with the same boxy smile and expression.

"Taetae hyung..." He mutters subconsciously.

"Hey ! Are you alright ?" Taehyung asks worried as he saw how Jungkook just stopped walking.

Jungkook just looks at him and nods.

"Are you sure because you're cryin-"

"Can we just go ?" The maknae says impatiently while wiping his tears with the sleeve of his (Taehyung's) sweater.

"Yes sir, of course sir." Taehyung says directly as he tries to hurry up to the room tripping in the process.

A giggle escapes Jungkook's lips as he looks at Taehyung with a hint of amusement in his sad and lost eyes.
Maybe Taehyung can be the cure to his depression ? It seems like this ugly feeling in the younger's heart temporarily vanishes whenever he is with the elder. But why can't he just trust Taehyung? The flashbacks. There's something he needs to know about his past in order to move on. He needs to know what Taehyung has done.
