I stood up and stretched. Today was the flower party.

"Dress cute!," Mira whispered before I left, "Trust me!"

I remembered Mira's words as I stood facing my closet. I didn't have that many clothes, I did just get back. Maybe I could do some shopping before heading to the guild. But what would I buy?

I threw on the cleanest clothes I could find, I needed to do laundry. I grabbed my keys and wallet and ran out the door and down the street and towards the guild.

When I walked in Mira was in the corner, putting up job enlistments.

"Mira," I called, approaching her, "Will you go shopping with me today?" She looked over at me, eyes lit.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I don't have any clothes," I showed her what I was wearing. She shook her head.

"Honey I'd love to!" She yelled in excitement.

-

"What about this?" Mira turned to me, holding a long yellow dress. I cringed. "Okay nevermind," she said reading my sour face.

I fumbled through some stacks and turned to a wall. This was hopeless. I had no sense of style. I just wore whatever we bought whenever Dad and I went into down, so it was basically his style. I sighed.

I heard Mira squeal and I turned, preparing for the worst.

She held a short, blue, tight body dress. I walked over and felt the fabric. It was felt. My eyes lit at it.

"So you like?" she asked practically jumping up and down. I titled my head.

"I'll try it on," I answered and took it from her.

The dress fit perfectly, but I didn't know how to feel about it.

"Let me see!" I heard Mira call from outside. I took one last look at stepped out. "You look great! Okay we're getting that one!" She turned to her bag and began digging for something.

I huffed, "Hey! I don't even know if I like it," I said turning around back to the mirror.

"It looks gorgeous on you!" the clerk lady called.

"See!" Mira said, pulling her wallet out of her purse.

"You're not buying this," I said, turning back into the dressing room and changing out of it.

"Too late!" She called. I groaned. I took one last look at myself before taking it off.

"Hey Mira?!" I asked as I stepped out, she looked at me from the counter. "Do you think Gajeel would team up with me?" She stared at me.

"What about Gray?" She asked worriedly.

"He already has a team and Gajeel doesn't, plus Gajeel is a Dragon Slayer, we'd be a strong pair. It doesn't mean anything other than that." I assured her. She softened.

"I mean, yeah I think he would," she said, "He's super stubborn though but I think you could handle him," she smiled. I nodded.

We finished shopping, she headed back to the guild and I headed back to my apartment to get ready.
