Yep. It was one of those sleepless nights again. Poppy kept tossing and turning in her bed. "Why can't I keep my mind off of him for a split-second?" She wondered to herself. In case you're wondering who this him is, it's Branch. Poppy has loved Branch ever since they're adventure 5 years ago. Love is a strong word, maybe even stronger than hate. Poppy knew she loved Branch, but she was worried he would reject her if she told him her true feelings. The pink troll sighed to herself. She tried falling back asleep but her eyes would not close. Poppy knew she had to get these feelings out. So she got out of bed, put on a dress that Branch gave her a few years ago, and headed out the door to the blue troll's bunker. 

Keep in mind that it was almost 3:30 A.M, so waking up Branch would be difficult.  Lucky for Poppy, Branch had woken up to use the bathroom when he heard her call his name from outside. "What is she doing here? It's so damn early.." He rolled his eyes and hobbled over to his elevator to see what's wrong with Poppy.

Poppy jumped when she saw her friend's eyes peep through the peephole installed in his new "Welcome!" instead of the "GO AWAY" one. "Poppy, what are you doing at this time in the morning?" He asked her. "I-I'm sorry, Branch. I just couldn't s-sleep. I was wondering if I could stay with you tonight?" Branch opened the mat fully and looked directly into her eyes. "Aww babe, of course you could stay the night." Poppy sighed. Branch's nickname for her was babe, even though their not even dating. "Thanks, Branch." The blue troll smiled. "Anything for a friend." Branch took Poppy's hand and pulled her into the bunker. While descending down to the main floor, Branch decided to start a conversation. 

"So how come you couldn't sleep, babe?" Branch asked.

"Well um....I...um.." Poppy tried to spit it out but she was to flustered to even speak.

"Poppy, it's okay. You can tell me anything." The handsome troll said reassuringly.

Poppy decided that it would be best to be comfortable if she's gonna tell Branch what's actually going on with her. And of course, Branch agreed. When the elevator reached the bottom floor, he grabbed her hand an brought her to the bedroom where he sat her down on his bed. He didn't bother to sit down next to her though, seeming that she needed to breathe before getting these words out. 


"Branch, you've been on my mind for a total of 5 y-years now. And everyday, m-my feelings for you get stronger and s-stronger. There i-is no easy w-way to say this but...I..I l-love y-you Branch. I've loved y-you since the day you decided to go on that little adventure with me. At night, it's     i-impossible to sleep b-because of my fear that you might r-reject me if I told you this...I..I'm sorry, I should go." Poppy burst into tears as she ran out the bedroom and out of Branch's bunker. Branch ran after the love of his life. He couldn't believe that Poppy felt the same feelings that he had. "That silly little girl should have stayed." He thought to himself. Branch finally caught up to Poppy at her pod. He opened the felt-door and ran to Poppy who was sitting on the floor ,crying.

"Poppy" Branch spoke "Why'd you run away?" Poppy turned to him with sad, wet eyes. "I just thought you wouldn't feel the same about me. What if I ruined our relationship? What if..." Branch cut her off. He was pissed off at her for thinking that she ruined their relationship. "Babe, how could you think something like that? Why would you think that saying 3 simple words would ruin our relationship?" This time it was Poppy's turn to be pissed. "THREE SIMPLE WORDS? SIMPLE?! Branch, those "three" simple words have so much meaning! I love you so much Branch. I love you more than myself. More than anything in this whole damn world. More than the whole fucking UNIVERSE! I knew you wouldn't understand. I knew in my heart that you wouldn't feel the same way. Why am I so stupid?" Poppy burst into another wave of tears. Branch looked at the young pink troll, crying her eyes out. He knelt down and threw his arms around Poppy, trying his best to comfort her. Clearly the hug was failing. So he tried talking to her instead.

"Poppy, I'm sorry. That came out wrong. Babe, please look at me." Branch used his blue hands to turn Poppy's face towards him. "Poppy, you're fear of being rejected made you run away before I even got to say anything. I want you to know that I love you too. I have for a long time now. Maybe even before our adventure a few years ago. I had the same fear of rejection too; which is why I was gonna wait a while before I actually told you. But it looks like you beat me to it." It took Poppy a second to register in her brain that Branch loves her, and when that second was over, she tackled him in a big bear hug. "He loves me! He actually loves me!" she thought to herself. Realizing that she was squishing Branch in her hug, she sat up, embarrassed. "I-I'm sorry Branch..I was just.." The queen was cut off when the love of her life pulled her in for a kiss. Poppy easily melted into the kiss. Who knew Branch was such an amazing kisser? They pulled back after a few minutes and smiled. "I love you, Branch."

"I love you more, babe." 

ok so i hope you enjoyed that. sry its kinda short. im gonna try my best to update on weak ends (HAHAHA WEEKENDS =WEAK ENDS) and yeah. antonio garza is superior.
