I wake up and am ready to go. I get on my combat armor and MC snow digis. I saw that it was going to snow on the forecast. I put my patches and ranks on. I go and do my routine. The only others that are up are Warden and the MC troops. I meet up with Warden and we go to the MC tent. I see that Rhodes is the only one up. I walk over to her. "Want me to wake them, Ultra style?" I ask her. "Go right ahead." She says. "Now, Russian Ultra or American?" I ask. "We're in Russia, so Russian." She tells me. "Warden, back up," I say. I take out a loudspeaker. It's loud enough to blast the entire tent, without disturbing anyone else. I start up the Cheeki Breeki Hardbass anthem. I also start dancing like a Russian. The troops stir and are confused. They see me acting like an idiot and laugh. I start singing with the song. I stop the song and turn to the troops. "Good morning! Hope you liked my song and dance. But for now, we have work to do. There's a war to be fought." I say. The troops do their routines. Rhodes and I chat while they do. She asks me why do I know about Slavic music. I tell her I went to Slavic Russia once and liked the music. She chuckles and dismisses Warden and me. We return to the Rainbow tent. They're all still asleep. Harry is up, though. He asks me to wake them. "I just got done waking the Corps troops. I'll need the Germans for this." I tell him. I wake them and tell them about my plan. I sing "Moskau" while we all dance. They nod. We get ready. Warden blasts a horn which wakes them. We start dancing and singing. Everyone laughs. We finish the song and everyone gets up and around. We are like one big dysfunctional family, but we make it work. Mira and I go out into the commons. We go to the chow tent. We grab some food and chat with GEO and MC troops. I introduce her to Chavez. She introduces me to her squad. "Introducing my squad would take another entire song and dance," I tell her. I introduce her to my squad, who conveniently put themselves into a squad-like formation. I call them to attention and face them. Mira stands to my left and stands at attention as well, from what she sees. "Alverez, at ease. Squad, stay at attention. This is my wife, Elena 'Mira' Alverez. She is to be treated with the utmost respect, as you show me. Dismissed. Greet her as you wish." I tell them. They fall out and some come up to meet her.
We leave the chow tent. Something seems off. The snow seems to be moving. I tell Mira to send Warden and Delta my way. I kiss her and check the banks. I kick a snow pile and it falls apart. I walk out a bit further. The snow seems to roll over again. Warden and Delta appear at my side. They both notice the rolling snow. I kick it again and something grabs my leg. "What the fuck?" I say. I pull back and a man comes up out of the snow. I pick him up and carry him back to base. I take him into the Rainbow tent and set him by a fire. I also wrap him in a blanket and give him some coffee. "You alright, sir?" I ask him. "J-j-j-just c-c-c-c-cold. Also, I'm-m-m-m female." She shivers and says. "Well, I'm Ultra. Jason Stone is my real name, but call me Ultra." I tell her. "May I catch your name?" I ask her. "My n-n-n-n-n-name is Abigail. Most p-p-p-p-people call m-m-m-m-me Misty, though." She says. "Were you traveling with anyone?" Warden asks. "Y-y-y-yes. M-m-m-Marlton Johnson, Samuel J. S-s-s-s-s-s-Stulinger and R-r-r-r-r-r-Russman." She says, still shivering. "Where did you come from?" Delta asks. "S-s-s-s-s-s-Siberia. We went on a q-q-q-q-q-Quest to get an 'Agarthan D-d-d-d-d-d-Device' or s-s-s-s-s-s-something. W-w-w-w-w-we got it and we were t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-teleported here. W-w-w-w-w-where am I?" She asks. "Near Stalingrad, Russia. Stay here and warm up. We'll go find your pals." I tell her. Warden, Delta and I leave, while Mira and the others take care of Misty. I go back to the spot where I found Misty. I do a bit of searching and find 3 more bodies. "Must be them," I say. I pick up the male with glasses and a fanny pack. Delta takes the man with glasses and a white shirt. Warden takes the African-American man who seems to know a good meal, based on his body shape. We take them back to base and ask them who they are. They don't respond at first, probably because they're freezing. They warm up for about 30 minutes before talking. Fanny Pack tells us his name is Samuel J. Stulinger. White Shirt tells us he's Marlton Johnson. Beefy Man tells us that he's Russman. He speaks in the third person, which is kind of funny to me. They also have the same story as Misty. Mira and I believe them, but no one else does.
Once Mira and I convince the others that they are speaking the truth, they're left by the fire with some warm coffee. I walk back out and look over the hill of snow. I see that they're still rolling, but they seem closer. I now realize what that is. "Yare yare daze," I say. (A/N Yare yare daze [pronounced ya-ray ya-ray da-zae] is Japanese for good grief.) I run back to base to see a massive gunfight break out between The Masks and everyone here. (A/N, again. I'm going to call the "good guys" The Crusaders from now on) I draw my 1911 and pop some heads. We're losing men left and right because we can't see the Masks. The thing is, they can't see me either. I keep taking them out and making my way towards the Rainbow tent. The other Crusaders are putting up a hell of a fight. I make it and see some Masks. I take them out, and what I see next horrifies me so much, my voice cuts out and stops working.
