Chapter 17: Intrusion

     I wake up to another announcement. "All operators, attention, please. We will be having a recruit join us at around 14:20. Thank you." Harry says. I look at the time. 08:00. Well, I have 4 hours beforehand. What do I want to do? Mira is still sleeping, and no Masks have planned an attack yet. The other troops are in great shape and are happy. Damn. Looks like my primary and secondary objectives are done. I get out of bed and throw on a t-shirt and sweatpants. I decide to go to the gym. I see Finka is there. We do some CQC training and talk about our scars. I manage to win the CQC fight. I help her off the ground and I get her some water. She thanks me and leaves. I work out a bit more. Once I finish a 100 rep jump rope routine, I check the clock. Noon? Alright. I gather my stuff, grab a cup of water, and go back to my dorm. Mira is awake now. She and I go to the cafe and get some food. Most of the other operators are here, so we all chat and have a good time. Thermite and Hibana invite Mira, Blu, Cav, Binary, IQ, and I to there dorm for a small party. I drop by my dorm real quick and grab a bottle of wine. I keep all kinds of liquor in Mira and I's dorm. She doesn't mind. I go into Jordan's dorm and pop the bottle. I almost hit Blu in the face. "Damn it, I missed," I say. I pour the others a glass each. We cheer and all drink. We take this a bit too far. I manage to keep my bearing, but the others lose it. We start to play spin the bottle. First up is Blu, because I almost hit him with the cork. He spins and it lands on IQ. "Take off your shirt and pants," Blu says drunkenly. IQ does so without hesitation. Binary starts to blush now. Multiple hiccups can be heard. IQ spins and it lands on me. "10 pushups, but Elena sits on your *hic* back," IQ says. "Wow, light work!" I say. I get into a pushup position and Mira takes a seat on my back. I easily breeze through the pushups. She gets off of me and I help her sit down. I spin the bottle now, and it lands on Hibana. "Grab the most secret item you have in here," I say. I know she'll do it because she's drunk. She goes to her dresser and reaches under it. She grabs a bottle of whiskey that's been sealed off. "I use this sometimes for-" She starts. "We can assume!" I quickly cut off. Yumiko now spins the bottle. It lands on Mira. "Make out with Jason until it's your's or his turn." She says. Mira hops on me and we start kissing. I can't see what happens until the bottle lands on me again. We break apart and I'm told to do something, but I ignore it. I ignored it because I saw my watch. 

     "Oh, shit! It's 13:45!" I say. I help them clean up and I take Mira back to our room. I lay her on the bed so she can rest. I get dressed in some nice clothes. Scarlett shirt, black jeans, and black combat boots. I hear Mira groan. "You ok?" I ask her. "Too much to drink." She says. "I'm drunk as well, I can feel it. I just don't show it. I'm probably gonna pass out as soon as I give the new guy a tour." I tell her. I let her sleep. I walk out of my dorm and meet up with Finka. We were told to give the new guy a tour. We walk out to the front of the building and see a chopper land there. A Finnish man steps out. "God damn, he's stacked," I whisper to Finka. He seems about 6 foot 2, 260 pounds of pure muscle. I'm only 220 of 80% muscle. He walks up to us. I extend my hand to him. He brushes it off. "We don't shake hands in Finland." He says. I know this to be a lie because I shook hands with the Governor-General. "Alright then. I'm Jason, codename Ultra." I say. "Some kind of bigshot?" He asks. "No, just a name given to me in the Marine Corps. You are?" I ask. "Just call me Boss." He says. "Well, Boss, I'm Lera, aka Finka. Let's give you a tour, shall we?" Finka says. We show him around and introduce him to everyone. He seems uninterested in everyone except some of the females, like Zofia, Ela, and Alibi. Mira walks up to me now. "Hey, Jace, who's the new guy?" She asks. "The only name he told me is Boss," I tell her. He hears me call his name and turns around. He sees Mira and is instantly by her side. "And who might you be, you beautiful lady?" He says to Mira. She starts stumbling on her words and stuttering. I can't talk either because I'm pissed off at him. I decide to let Ace do the talking. He manages to tell Boss  who Mira is, minus the fact that she's my wife. I call him back after I've calmed myself. "Well, hope you'll enjoy working with us. I'll show you to your dorm." I tell him. I take him to an empty dorm next to the GSG9 dorms. He walks in and it's the last I see of him for the day. I go and knock on the GSG9 door. Blitz and Bandit answer. "Keep an eye on Boss. Something about him is throwing me off." I say in German, just in case Boss just so happens to be listening. "Sure thing." They say in German back. I leave and go to the gym. I work out my legs and chest. It's almost dinnertime when I'm done working. I walk back to my dorm to see that Mira is cooking some food. I kiss her and set up the table. She finishes cooking and we eat. She tells me that she made Spanish food from her childhood. It's really good. Once I finish eating, I clean up our plates and put them away. It's almost 20:00. I decide to go to bed. Mira follows suit. 

     I wake up to see Mira is gone. I think that she went to go get some food at the cafe. I put on some new clothes and go through my routine. Once I'm done, I head over to the cafe. I see that most of the others are up. I grab some food and eat it. When I'm about halfway through, I see Boss with a few of the other female ops. I  dismiss it, but keep an eye on him. Once I toss my trash, I hear a scream. It sounds like Mira's. (Start song above.) I call Ace out and look in Boss's direction. He has his Stand out and is holding most of the females hostage. "Ah, for fuck's sake. Not again." I say. I see that his Stand looks familiar. He now reveals himself as a new person. "It was I, Diavolo!" He says. King Crimson is also here. "Ah, fuck. How did you get out of GER's death loop?" I ask. "Unless..." I say to myself. He takes a swing at me. I dodge and pull a card. I see it's an Ace of Spades, but I don't reveal it. I throw it at Diavolo instead and start Ace's special move. The card lodges into Diavolo's chest. Perfect. I start running toward him. "Ace! The Liberator!" I say as soon as I'm within melee distance. Ace gives me an axe with an American flag design and "The Liberator" Written on the handle. "For all of these operators you have captured in our own base, I now declare you Liberated!" I say as I cut through his head and down to his chest. (You can stop the song if you want.) Ace takes the axe back. "Yare yare," I say and cut the other operators free. They get up and thank me. Mira gives me a hug and a kiss. Nothing else in the day is eventful, just Mira and I hanging out with the other operators, who we trust and know.
