"So what is the answer for question five on page 119?"

Two boys at the exact time raised their arms, knowing the answer quite confidently and were eager to respond. Obviously, the more interaction in class would result in higher grades.

"Jeno, you know it?" The professor asked, adjusting his spectacles. Jaemin turned in his seat to face Jeno with a glare, which the other replied in a smirk.

"It was because of king charles' terrible reign during that time period- none of his subjects liked him and because of the lack of parliament, England and Scotland were suffering without the support from the House of commons and lords so we can infer that his subjects obviously despised the man and attempted to throw him off the thrown. Following this, he later got executed publicly."

Jaemin's jaw dropped. All he was going to say was that the man was a bad king, but Jeno seemed quite smart, leaving both him and the teacher shocked.

"Good job Jeno, you are doing quite well I take."

Jeno and Jaemin locked eyes for a few seconds., however long ones and couldn't seem to tear their eyes away from one another.

"Okay, next."

The words which escaped the teacher's mouth snapped the two back to reality, looking away with a slight blush evident on their tanned faces. Soon after, a cough was heard.

"Whipped," Jisung muttered, smirking.

Jeno kicked the younger under the table, in the shin as he glared at him. Jisung, being the extra boy he was, yeeted himself off the chair and onto the floor, grasping his ankle as he began to seize up.

"Mr. Park! Are you alright?" Their professor exclaimed, rushing over to his side as he crouched, examining the boy.

"aH! Mr. Choi, I think I'll need to go to Che- The toilet! I'll need to go to the toilet because I feel a bruise forming!"

Jeno rolled his eyes at the boy as he watched him run off, Jaemin's eyes following him as well.

"Oh- Okay then?"

The class laughed at the teacher's reaction and continued on with the lesson.

"Okay! Class dismissed, children, make sure to do your homewo- never mind you won't do it anyways, stupid kids forget it."

Jeno laughed at his history teacher's fed up facial expression and called back, "Thanks Minho!" And ran, hearing some yells back to him.

"Mr. Choi to you, peasant!"

Jaemin heard all of this, as he was exiting nearly at the same time Jeno was, and couldn't help the smile which formed on his face unconsciously.

"Do you usually do this-"

Jeno snapped his head towards Jaemin.

"Look, I still don't like you, okay? I was only nice to you because of Renjun so don't expect me to be nice to you otherwise, understand?"

Jaemin's eyes widened in disbelief and half annoyance.

"Hold up- What did I even do to you? I literally did nothing!"

Jeno scowled, walking towards Jaemin and grabbing his collar.

"Didn't think I didn't hear about your little sleepover with Renjun, huh?" He scoffed angrily. Jaemin raised an eyebrow, his temper rising.

"He came to my place last night! I had nothing to do with that alright? Stop accusing everything on me!" Jaemin was growing frustrated, none of this was his fault.

"You could've easily sent him out! I threatened you earlier but no, of course you didn't listen, asshole."

Jaemin pushed the boy back and threw a fist at his face.

"It's not my fault if the boy likes me, idiot!"

Jeno gasped, holding onto his cheek as he felt a weird irony taste coming to his mouth.

"Are you kidding me?" Jeno yelled, storming up to Jaemin and punching him in the stomach.

Suddenly, blood came gushing up from Jaemin's mouth, and spluttered out , staining his uniform.

"Are you fucking joking right now?"

The two boys whipped their heads to the voice and footsteps nearing them. An attractive brunette came immediately, and stopped in the middle of both of them. His face was pure anger, and disappointment mixed.

This made the other two feel immediate shame.

Jeno looked down, knowing that Renjun would take Jaemin's side, and began backing away, wiping his cheek with his shirt. "It's my fault, as always. Go help him Renjun."

Jaemin looked up, confused as he saw Jeno's hurt face. It was now when he saw the love in his eyes for the chinese boy, and felt guilt stab him sharply.

"You two are idiots," the smaller whispered, much gentler than before. He walked over to Jeno, slipping his hand in his and pulling him over to Jaemin, and holding his arm after lugging both of their bags over his shoulders, now carrying three bags and holding two boys on either side of him.

"What are you doing?" Jaemin questioned, his head pounding as his mouth was still bleeding.

Renjun rolled his eyes as he continued to drag the two out of the hallway, and out the school gates.

"You're lucky I care about you guys so much."

It was one sentence, but it was that sentence that made their hearts plummet.

After the quick walk from school, the trio swiftly arrived to the large house belonging to Renjun. It wasn't long before they were upstairs, all sitting on the king sized bed in the middle of the beautiful, regal and ornate bedroom.

"Don't fight," the chinese mumbled as he tended to each of their wounds, healing Jeno's busted lip and ripped gum- as well as Jaemin's stomach and neck.

"Sorry," the two blonde's mumbled in unison. A small, cute giggle escaped the elder's mouth seeing how ashamed his friends looked. That same giggle put a wide smile on the two boys.

It was something that would always cheer them up.

"It's okay. If it's you two, it's always okay," the chinese whispered.
