"You're going on a date with who?!" Berta and Greta squeak, when I enter my room and relay the events of the day.

"Did you not hear me?" I ask shocked. "Did you not hear about the part where I killed a soldier!"

"Oh of course we did." Greta hisses. "We are just more concerned that you have a date with COAL!"

"He's dreamy..." Berta swoons. Then the two little demons burst out into giggles like teenage girls.

I laugh at them and walk over to the closet, pulling the door closed and changing.

"Okay. I'm ready." I say, dressed in jeans and a loose shirt.

"Oh my oh my oh my!" Greta shrieks so loud my eardrums threaten to burst.

"What?" I ask quizzically.

"There is no way we're letting you go out looking like that!" Berta gurgles. Greta nodding in agreement. "Come on lets get you ready."

I groan, while they set me in front of the full length mirror.

"Blue?" Greta squeaks.

"No way!" Berta cackles.

"Black?" Greta try's again.

"Keep trying." Berta nips.

"Red?" Greta questions hopefully.

"Absolutely!" Berta claps with excitement.

"Red and black it is." Greta says scouring my closet for appropriate attire.

"We need something to help her stand out but not to much. Something that says 'I'm not afraid of you'. Something fierce." Berta says while pacing back and forth in front of the bed.

"Something like this?" Greta cackles.

I look over and see the most beautiful dress ever.

It is a black strapless dress, that ends just above the knees, in a pencil style fitted skirt. The top is decorated in a red lace that shows the black fabric underneath it. It cinches at the waist, showing off and defining every curve. It has a small slit up the side, the edges of it decorated in the red lace.

"Yes something very much like that." Berta hisses with delight. "We'll need to get black heels with red jewels to match it. Oh! Don't forget about the ruby earrings and a matching necklace with a silver chain." She continues obsessing over every detail.

As Berta goes to find accessories Greta looks at me, a softness in her eyes. "Go try it on." She says simply and directs me towards the bathroom.

I slip into it easily, it fits perfectly, as if it was made for me. I admire myself in the mirror, admiring how well the dress fits.

"Come out! Let's see!" I hear the girls squeak. I walk out of the bathroom and am showered with praise.

"Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous." Greta admires, while Berta has me put on the accessories she chose.

"Make up time!" They sing, but it comes out as a muffled gurgle.

They lead me into the bathroom. Greta claims she is the best at doing make up so Berta just does my hair.

After only a few minutes they say they're finished and urge me to look in the mirror.

So I do. My reflection seems to have transformed. My body's curves have been defined by the dress giving me a pronounced hourglass figure. The shoes adding an inch or two to my height. The necklace compliments the red lace perfectly.
