Last night was the most fun I have ever had.

After we had danced at the club, we went back to the hotel, holding hands the whole way. Coal walked me to my room and kissed me goodnight.

Last night was perfect.
I've been commanded to see Lucifer at noon, so I'm getting myself ready now, having slept in I don't have much time to shower and get dressed.

As I rush around my room, struggling to get ready I stop and realize something.

I don't have to rush. I have power and authority here. I'm powerful. I have influence.

As I think this, a smile comes to my lips. The feeling of power and control, is bitter sweet.

It's a taste of leadership. A taste of pure concentrated power.

Enjoying this, I take my time getting ready. Slowly. Leisurely even. Not even paying attention to the clock.

Finally, I make my way downstairs towards the boardroom. Smirking as I await the reaction Lucifer will have.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" He bellows as soon as I enter the room. "I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR AN HOUR!"

"Oops." I say mockingly, winking at him slyly.

"Oops? OOPS!" He cackles, voice rising higher and higher, his face turning a molten lava red, I can practically see the smoke swirling around his head.

Suddenly...this doesn't seem like such a good idea. I start to slowly back out of the room, inching my way closer and closer to the door.

"DONT MOVE A MUSCLE!" He screeches. Body being pulled apart by tremors. "I HAVE SOMETHING TO S-." He doesn't get to finish his sentence. I see his body transforming, fingers changing into claws. Back hunching, height multiplying until his head hits the roof.

To soon, what stands before me is no longer Lucifer it's a new kind of monster.

His skin is a deep midnight purple, long jet black hair, head the size of a chair, his body is hunched, immense amounts of muscle decorate his body.

He's a new kind of monster.
An inhuman roar rips through the room, making the walls and ceiling quake. I stand tall, fierce despite the absolute terror that is coursing through my body.

We stand there staring at each other for what feels like forever, until I slowly back out of the room, leaving that monster behind.

I close the door and lean up against it, my heart beating out of control. Hammering against my ribs, like a savage animal trying to break free.

I stand there for what feels like hours.
Then I hear someone clear their throat from behind me.

"Terrifying. Isn't it?" He asks hesitantly from behind me. I nod in response.

"H-how is Spark going to react when she finds out she's the daughter of the devil? Poor gentle, loving, innocent Spark, this will kill her." I weep, tears sliding down my cheeks.

Coal pulls me into a hug, wrapping his arms around me, and pulling me close.

"Well..." He says, sighing.

"Well what?" I ask nervously.

"She's not exactly your full sister..." He whispers.

I laugh. "Funny Coal real funny." I look at him but I don't see humour in his eyes, only sorrow. "You're not joking...are you?" I whisper. He just shakes his head in response.

Suddenly the door behind me opens and out steps Lucifer.

"He's right my dear." He sneers, enjoying the look of terror I know is covering my face. "In fact you two couldn't be any more different."
Coal holds me close, bracing me for what Lucifer is going to say.

"Lucifer..." Coal warns.

"Silence boy!" He barks. Then turns his attention to me. "Your sister..." He looks me right in the eyes, laughing dryly. "Is the daughter of an angel."

As soon as this sinks in, I lunge forward and all hell breaks loose.
