It had been a long pre-season training season but finally it had come to an end and Adrien was rather happy with that. The two of you had made plans to go out for a lovely meal this evening and he was looking forward to just spending some time alone with you. It seemed as if it had been forever since the two of you had just sat down and spent some quality time together.

As he stepped out of the showers he wrapped a towel around his waist and wandered over to his locker, pulling it open he was surprised to see there was a couple of things inside that wasn't there in the morning.

Pulling out a miniature PSG jersey he couldn't help but chuckle to himself wondering what kind of joke this was. Looking around the room he noticed that all of his friends and teammates were minding their own business, if this was a practical joke none of them would have been able to keep a straight face.

Turning the jersey around he was even more surprised to see that it had his number on the back with the word 'Papa' above that. This made him even more suspicious about what this meant, or what had placed it there.

Adrien then noticed another present that was lying inside, a small simple slip of paper with what seemed to be a pregnancy test lying on top of it. Taking it between his fingers he inspected it to see that two lines were visible, he knew exactly what that was meant and it made his heart skip a beat as he grabbed the paper to see 'Surprise' was scribbled down.

He was absolutely overjoyed by this news, it felt as if the two of you had been trying to so long to have a baby together and start a family and finally your mutual wish had come true.

Without hesitation he got some clothes on and towel dried his hair the best that he could before saying a quick farewell to his friends and rushing home to see you, he needed to hear the words come from your mouth before he believed it – not to say that he wasn't absolutely over the moon but he just wanted to be sure.

As the Frenchman entered the house that the two of you shared he smelt something wonderful floating through the halls. Following the scent through to the kitchen he saw you standing with his back to him stirring something over the stove. "Is it true?" Suddenly you turned surprised by his quiet entrance.

"Adrien, you startled me." You placed your hand onto your heart as he watched as he pulled out the small PSG jersey from behind his back and laid it on the kitchen island separating the two of you. "I see that you found the surprise I left for you." He watched your face waiting for the words to leave your mouth. "Yes, it's true. I'm pregnant."

You watched as his eyes brightened up and he sprung around the island to gather you up into a tight and warm hug before spinning you around with pure glee. It made you feel a little nauseous so he stopped and placed you onto your feet delicately. "This is amazing news, we have to celebrate!" There was so much excitement in his voice that it made you giggle.

"Can we leave the celebrating to the weekend?" You asked giving him a small frown as you gazed up into his beautiful eyes. "My morning sickness has turned into an all day sickness; I'm not really feeling up to going together." He stroked your hair back of your face. "But I did cook us a nice meal..." You gestured over to the pans that you had cooking on the hob.

"Oh, I'm so sorry that our baby is making you feel sick." Adrien placed a couple of thoughtful kisses on both of your cheeks making you giggle as his fingers link through yours romantically and saying. "How about this..." He pulled you through to the living room. "You sit there, pick a movie for us and I will cook."

Your eyes brightened up. "Really?" He nodded his head and you giggled before placing a loving kiss on his lips. "You're the best. I love you."

"I love you, too." He bent down then and kissed your stomach through your shirt and said. "And I love you." You giggled as you locked your fingers into his hair as he continued to whisper to your stomach, you knew he was going to make a great father and you were excited to see how your little one come into the world.
