Liam's POV

"Ivy wait!" I half yelled running after her, I was almost out of breath but Ivy seemed like she could give up anytime and in less than 10 seconds she had fallen.

Now, I guess you must wondering why we're running instead of being in my car or a fancy restaurant, well....

"Hey, could you turn up the radio a bit" Ivy requested as I increased the volume, Old town road was playing and she was singing  along,

"I guess you like country" I said as I made a turn,

"Yh, a bit...besides Phoebe sings the song  almost all the time," she said looking out the window, almost on cue I saw her take out her phone and made a call.

I still haven't decided on where to take Ivy, but then I got an idea, I'll take her to my favorite restaurant here in Newport.

The bell inn was well hidden and it seemed to be a conducive environment for both of us.

Soon we had reached our destination and had gotten comfortable.

"This is a real fancy place, are you sure we can afford it?" Ivy whispered to only my hearing

I chuckled, "don't worry, I'll handle it...besides I wanted to treat you out for lunch ever since Friday" I said as I skimmed through the menu.

"Now don't tell me you're vegan" I said to Ivy, who seemed a little bit uncomfortable

She laughed a hearty laugh and shook her head, "I'm not, not to worry" she said in between laughs

"Phew, meaning I can order something for both of us, I want to surprise you" I said as I signalled the waiter and whispered into his ears.

He wrote it down and scurried out of the room,

"Hope you love spicy food?" I asked her as she focused her attention on me,

"Yup...spicy food is heavenly" she said popping the 'p' in yup,

"Good thing you like it cos I ordered a lot of it" I said and I could see her lick her plump pink lips, would it be wrong if I grabbed her and kissed the hell outta her?

Yes. That would be so wrong, I mentally face palmed.

"You're looking at a girl, who has both Spanish and Italian bloodlines and you think you can beat her at eating spicy food," she said with a smirk across her face,

"You're highly mistaken" she added as she whipped her coffee brown hair .

As I was about to counter back, the waiter came with my order.

"Thank you" Ivy mouthed as the waiter went away.

Before us was the spiciest set of wings and arroz rojo aka Spanish rice,

"That's a lot of wings Liam, don't you think you out did yourself?" Ivy asked,

"No, not really" I said as I took a spoonful of rice into my mouth and the taste of pepper danced on my tongue, I was officially going to die today.

Ivy was eating her food like it was a simple cream puff, while I seemed to be dying, I liked spicy food once in a while but I never expected it to be this...hot!!!

I took a sip of Sprite  to quench my torture but it seemed to get worse by the minute, I looked at Ivy who seemed to eating her wings and enjoying them.

"Liam, you're turning red, what's wrong ?" She asked with a sincere look on her face,

"Nothings wrong, I think its getting kinda stuffy here" I lied,

She scrunched her eyebrows and signalled a waiter, she whispered something into his ears and he was back in no less than 2 minutes.

"I know you're not a fan of spicy wings, so drink this it will help," she said giving me a glass of water.

I smiled at her and gulped down the salty water,

She was laughing, at that point I felt all the colors rush back to my flushed skin

"Thank you ...I would have died" he whispered as he pushed his food away

Ivy started laughing again, I could see her perfect dentition, oh God she was beautiful, I thought to myself as I watched her every little gesture

Some minutes later we we're having small talk,

"Liam?"

"Yeah?"

"Why are you always wearing hoodies?" She asked as I felt like shrinking into my seat,

Did she know?

Finally an update, I'm very sorry for not posting earlier, but I'm back.
