"Look at me treating you as if you were some baby" I chuckled to myself as I gave him the handkerchief,
"Feel free to help yourself" I added as he smirked cleaning the remaining coffee stains.
"Thank you Ivy, I'll return your hanky tomorrow," he said folding it into his pocket.
"What makes you think you'll see me here tomorrow?" I asked with my arms folded over my chest.
"Let's see...one, I know you're new in town and you may or may not know much about this town...two, I know you come here for..." I knew what he wanted to say, I didn't want people thinking I was just here for the WiFi, so I quickly placed my hand over his mouth.
"You've proved your point," I said after removing my hand from his mouth.
Would it be weird if I said his lips felt soft? Yes,definitely weird.
"So, Liam, what college do you attend?" I asked out of the blues,
He froze for a while before replying
"I'm a graduate" he blurted out with a smirk,
"No way, you could pass for a 20 year old" I said way too fast, I hoped he actually heard me
"Well, I'm 20, I started schooling early" he replied
"Okay, did you perhaps study at St John's college?"
"No" he said as he shrugged
"Is that your school? He asked as I wondered how they knew him, well, who cares.
" yup" I said popping the 'p'
"But you don't really have a British accent"
"That's true cos I'm American, I just wanted to school far from home" I added as I finished my coffee.
"Liam, pardon me but your phone has been ringing continuously and it ..."
"Its not important" he snapped
"Okay," I said as I stood up,
"Hey, Ivy, I didn't mean it like that" he tried to explain but I didn't need his explanation, he had the right to snub whoever he wanted.
I met Cath, hugged her and collected her number, as I was about to exit, I felt a hand on my arm
"Ivy, are you annoyed with me?" He asked as I shook my head in denial
"I'm not, actually, you have the right to talk or snub anyone you want so you're free to do what you want... I need to go" I said as I felt his grip on my hand loosen, I walked out and hauled a cab.
************************************ Liam's POV.
I really messed up, I'll make it up to her tomorrow, I thought as I drove home, seemingly Ivy was the only thing on my mind, I feel bad for snapping at her.
************************************ Ivy's POV
"... So I'm gonna get a job" I said to Phoebe over the phone
"Really, that's great, have you already shortlisted where you'd like to work?"
"Nope, going to go out tomorrow and I'll tell you where I'm going to work" I said with faith that I'll get a good job cos I can't be going to the café every single day besides getting a job would help me get more money I could use in school, so yeah, I was getting a job.
"Okay, so how's mystery guy?" Pheobe asked, I knew right from the onset of this conversation she wanted to ask.
"He's great, found out his name's Liam, he's British also"
"Oooohhhhh" she squealed, "British boys are hot"
"But Jason's American..."
"That's beside the point, I'm sure he's hot, isn't he?"
"Well he's manageable" I said shrugging as if she could see me.
"I'll take that as a huge yes, anyway, Jason and I are off to the movies, he also said hi"
"Okay, have fun while I'm here bored " I said
"Don't worry I won't, I'll make sure to be bummed out throughout the whole movie"
"Girl, don't worry, seriously have fun"
"Ok, love you loads, Jason's ready so I'd better head out, bye" she said as I bade her bye before I hung up.

"Please can you let Cath take me on a tour and job hunt" I pleaded with Olivia,
She looked at me then at Catherine then back to me, I looked at her with my most adorable set of puppy eyes, yeah I have different sets for different people.
"Fine, but no shopping, I can't have Cath on a shopping spree..."said Olivia as she whispered"she gets a little crazy"
I chuckled
"Moooommmm! I can hear you, I'm right here you know?" Cath asked with red stains coming up her cheeks
"Thanks...aunt" I said pulling Cath out with me.
