Ace's Point of View
"I said to fucking modify his personalities, so he will have a calmer and obedient nature, not fucking modify everything about him so he becomes complete opposite people you bitch! Now he can't be changed back!"
I blinked my eyes slowly and my vision came back. There was a vast amount of light inside the infirmity-like room around me. The white walls were covered with small blue tubes connected on the surface. Cylindrical containers filled with a mysterious green substance were located everywhere and a few computer screens were set out by my side, seemingly to be monitoring me and indicating my heartbeats and those technical scales. Something about myself didn't feel right. In fact, I felt like every muscle tissue in my body vanished into thin air. I managed to get enough strength to raise my arms and glare at them before widening my eyes in shock as I saw them being as thin as a normal human's arms.
"Professor, I still kept all his academic excellence in him! He can still talk and still-"
Continuous blasts of bullets were fired, followed by the shadow of blood behind the curtains, making me shiver in fear. I was surprised by how emotionally sensitive I was, considering that I was never afraid of a few gunshots.
At last, the feeling of warm blood circulated through my body and energy boosted my senses. I attempted to sit up, but the sudden extraordinary pain cursed the life out of me. Memories of how I got here flashed back in my mind and the storyline was clear to me once again. I knew I should've listened to Calista's advice, but even if I did listen to her, the aura senses on the hijackers' technology would still detect everyone with a special ability.
"I assume you are awake, the previously insanely psychopathic time manipulator." The voice of whom I immediately recognised as the man who electrified me back in the classroom stated as he manoeuvred onto the bed I was lying on. "The experiment probably will ruin your life until you manage to manipulate it with a stronger sense of power."
I raised an eyebrow in confusion at what he meant. Another feeling that shocked me was the absence of violence and bloodshed which I would normally experience when being mocked just somehow just vanished. I wondered what on earth happened to me, and did what the person who spoke about changing my personality real. Without hesitation, I eagerly wanted to acknowledge the purpose behind all this.
"Why are you doing this testing-" I began, but panic immediately rose into my forehead and my jaws slowly closed themselves.
My pressurised face was taken notice by the mysterious man and he began laughing. It was awful and strange since even my vocal cords changed, taking a major effect on my speaking voice – it sounded higher and more fragile compared to my previous tough voice.
"You will commence your time here today." announced the mysterious man. "Before I forget, you are to address me as Professor Zayne."
Strangely, I began shedding tears from my eyes. It was outrageous, considering that firstly, I lost my strength and secondly, my new voice sounded like an asthmatic goldfish. But most importantly, I'll need to deal with this new fragile personality.
"By the way young child, I can read your mind. You are currently experiencing an emotional breakdown." Professor Zayne unveiled, reminding me of how my peers treated me in primary school. "Also, kid, take a look at this!"
Professor handed me a pocket mirror which only reflected a small fracture of my face. The only emotion I could feel was gloom. Everything just went from depression to... blank. The most noticeable thing was that my previous hazel eyes turned into silver, which a slight platinum aura. My hair changed from short and black colour to shoulder-length, ash-white shade. There wasn't a single sign of anger indicated on my facial expression, but rather a mildness of dear.
