Angela went to sit at a dark blue-topped lab table.
They brought a sense of nostalgia as I had realised they were identical from the ones back home.
Sadly, Angela already had a partner sitting next to her. In fact, every table was full but one.
Next to the centre aisle, I recognized Grayson Dolan by his unusual hair, sitting next to that single open seat.
I watched him surreptitiously, as I had walked along the aisle to introduce myself to the teacher and get my slip signed.
Just as I passed, he suddenly tensed up. He went rigid.
He stared at me again, his eyes met mine with the strangest expression on his face- it was hostile, furious.
My face went red again as I looked away quickly, shocked.
I had hit my hip on the corner of a table causing me to stumble, but I luckily caught myself on the edge of that same table.
The girl sitting their giggled.
I'd noticed that his eyes were black- coal black.
Mr. Banner signed my slip and handed me a textbook with no nonsense about introductions.
I could tell we were going to get along.
Of course, he had no other choice but to send me to the one empty seat in the middle of the room.
I kept my eyes down as I sat next to him, perplexed by the antagonistic stare he'd given me.
