Chapter Twenty One

Four months later

Kristoff's p.o.v

It's been four months and I'm still waiting for Kathryn to say yes . After proposing to her I told she didn't have to answer now I'll wait . But how long can I wait . The babysit going to be born soon so what's going on .

Sighing I walked up to the nursery . It took a while for us to decorate it 'cause Kathryn and I couldn't decide what colour to paint it . I remember how she cried after

Two months ago

"Kathryn wake up come on we have to go to your doctor's appointment . " I don't want to wake her since she hasn't been getting enough sleep and this is the longest one she's had since we've returned . But my family's gynecologist is leaving town for a trip tomorrow so this is best we can do for now .

"Fine I'm coming ." With I got up and headed downstairs to make her something light . Hopefully she won't throw it out saying it's the most disgusting thing in the world .

A couple minutes later she came down wearing this

" You look beautiful as ever " I tried complementing her but instead I got attitude.

"Whatever " she said with a roll of her eyes . She walked passed me and took her breakfast to inspect it .

"What is this ?"

"It's breakfast"

"Eww " I was prepared for the worst but no still asked anyway

"Why what's it missing "

"Mayo and peanut butter " she said in a duh tone . What ? Scrambled eggs and sausages with mayo and peanut butter .

"Are you sure you want that ?"

"Yes I do so pass me the ingredients please" wow just wow

An half hour later we grade to the doctor . An hour later we were finished . The doc gave her some meds to take and said she needed more rest as it's not good for both mother and child .

So here we are at the mall I don't . We decided to decorate the baby's room . This is where the tricky part is . We don't know the gender. Kathryn said we should wait it'll be fun . And agreed as it sounds better . I think it's a girl

"I think it's a girl so we should get pink " I suggested to her but by the look on her face I can tell she didn't like .

"Even if it's a girl not all girl likes pink . "

"So what do you suggest ?"

"Green ."

"Green why green I'm mean whether it's a boy or a girl what if they don't like green . " 

"Then what do you suggest mister bossy pants "

"I'm not bossy ok I just want us to work on this together ."

"So you say but you are very bossy "

"Kathryn let's not do this c'mon "

"You see very bossy " sighing I rubbed my temple . It's hard trying to reason with her .

"What do you want then Kathryn "

"Are you saying I'm annoying "

"No didn't I just-"

"Ugh I hate you " and birthstone stormed  off . It's really hard to handle her . Walking in the direction she went I saw her sitting on a bench outside .  On the way there I got an amazing idea .

"Kathryn " I said softly . She looked up at me shoot I g me a glare .

" I'm sorry . You aren't annoying ok . But how about this why not make the room a rainbow theme mm" I saw her face brighten up .

"Ok that sounds good ." I smiled at her then helped her up so we can get the stuff .

Present time

Standing by the door I can't take my eyes off the sight in front of me . There she stood with a hand  on her belly talking to our little one .

I snapped a picture then walked into the room . Startling her a bit .

"Sorry to interrupt the both of you conversation but I'm came to check on you guys ." She smiled at me about to say something when she suddenly said .

"Oh the baby kicked ." Wow this awesome . I walked closer to her and waited .

"Um can I feel ."

" sure " as in put my hand on her stomach I felt it .

"Oh this great " the baby never kicks when we are together. Tears are coming out of my eyes .

So this how our day went . Us talking to the baby and the baby responding in kicks .
