Chapter 37

 Tony's POV

Instead of having the traditional honeymoon with just Peter and myself, we decided to have a family one (which includes Morgan and Pepper). The four of us are spending a week down in Disney World. Morgan's been asking to go for a long time and given that money isn't a worry for us, we impulsively booked a hotel, our flights, and theme park tickets. If you get them online or through AAA, you get a decent discount. We're staying at the Polynesian Resort. Morgan got really into Moana over the last few months so this resort will make her feel like she's a part of the island community featured in that movie. What's it called... I think it's Montonui.

As we all board our flight (a private one thankfully), we're assisted to with our luggage and catered to as we please. Peter is having a hard time taking it all in. The poor boy struggled in poverty for so long but now he's living the high life. He deserves this life style far more than I do. My father handed Stark Industries over to me while Peter actually had to work hard for what he has. I had a decent support system when I came out as Iron Man but yet when Peter joined the Avengers as Spiderman, I was the ONLY one who believed in him for a long time. I was honestly worried that the Avengers may never come around to accepting him. I'm so glad that they do now.

As the pilot prepares for take off, I make sure that everyone is strapped in and secure even though I'm not a flight attendant. I care about everyone in my family and while I want this to be a pleasurable trip, I also want it to be a safe one too. Morgan's so excited to be heading to Disney World that she already has a pair of mouse ears on. They're pink, covered in sparkles, have a tiara attached to them, and are themed around Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. She looks adorable. Pep made sure to snap a couple of pictures of her. The little moments are just as magical as the significant ones. I squeeze Peter's hand when I see him tense up a bit during the takeoff process. He blushes and looks away sheepishly. "I-I'm sorry Tony. I'm fine once we're in the air but takeoff and landing make a little nervous, especially take off."

I stroke his cheek gently. "There's nothing to be embarrassed off my love. I was afraid of flying at your age too. I didn't actually fly on a plane for the first time until I was a teenager. I think I was sixteen when I rode my first plane. It was a business trip with my dad out to Seattle. Seattle is a beautiful city by the way. Remind me to take you there one day. Okay?" He nods and tries his best to keep up with my long winded travel tales. He seems to be captivated by them though and doesn't ask me to stop talking once. Pep is playing games with Morgan on her tablet. I glance over at her and catch her eye. She gives me a small smile and pouts playfully when Morgan cheers that she's winning the game with a much higher score than Pep's. I chuckle and mouth "That's our girl." She nods in agreement and shifts her focus back onto Morgan.

The flight down to Orlando is three hours long and we experience very little turbulence thankfully. I've had some bad experiences with turbulence on flights in the past. I withheld those travel stories from Peter so I wouldn't put him on edge. Next stop, the Polynesian Resort at Disney World. Yippee!
