Another long chapter, because... WHY NOT. I update slow, so I'm just going to write long chapters to satisfy you until I come up with what to do next (*cough* Decide to stop not doing it. I have no excuse to why I don't post when I have the chapter done/don't finish the chapter when it's almost done *cough*). Here you go~

Yoshiki's P.O.V

"Hey, can you wait for my 'friend? She'll be out here in a few." I ask the taxi driver, who was wondering why I hadn't gotten in the cab yet. I spoke in a half-polite tone, which I barely pulled off. He nodded but didn't reply, only motioning for me to get in anyways. I crawled inside the back seat so I could sit with her. I patiently waited for her to get her belongings from her house.

I guess we really are a thing, huh? Not just my imagination going wild...

We had just got back from Satoshi's house. Nakashima is staying with him until his parents (who have been gone for about a week now...) return, so she could protect Yuka and keep him happy, since we concluded that when he feels bad emotions, the spirit would take control. He had apologized so many times to Ayumi, once he had regained his actual self. She said she would forgive him if he was absolutely sure what he had said was a lie. He nodded. The idiot was too embarrassed to say that he didn't feel that way about her.

It had gotten even more awkward, after he asked her why she called me by my first name. She had looked down, her face having turned a cute scarlet, and mumbling. When he asked for her to speak up, she just hid behind me. I told him I'd tell him later, but I think he knew the answer then. But he is denser than metal... So I had my doubts.

I glanced to her house, seeing her older sister move about in the living room. I could hear bits and pieces of  yelling, though...

"... Stay...I... K...e... Ayumi-chan!" I took a wild guess that this was Hinoe.

"NO!" Ayumi's words were firm and strong at her sister. "I'm...babied...a..more!" Her words kept getting cut off by the walls. I tried to ignore the yelling. No wonder she was taking a while...

I leaned back on the seat and closed my eyes, blocking out the world. I enjoyed solitude and the quiet air around me. I knew the driver was busy tapping away at his phone, waiting impatiently, so he was anything but company. I let my mind wander, not really caring what came through my head. I grimaced a few times as those unforgettable memories of being in Heavenly Hell (as I like to call it).

"AYUMI-CHAN! Fine, you want to go? Go! But tell me where you're going!" I heard a very agitated voice shout. The disembodied voice was clearly upset, as if they didn't want to sound harsh. Letting out an annoyed sigh, I opened my eyes to see Ayumi stomping towards the taxi door. She turned back to Hinoe, who was standing at the open door. Both girls had hands clenched into fists of anger and hatred. I guess Hinoe had been pushed off the edge. Ayumi always described her as a nice older sister.

"To a friends house, Onee-san, I told you." She sounded tired, as if this entire argument was a workout. Without another word, she turned her back to the older woman, and opened the door. She put her bag on the ground before sitting next to me.

I told the driver to go to the apartments where I lived and closed the window between the front and back of the car. I strapped the seatbelt around us. I had a good excuse to be careful with cars.

"Yoshiki..." She whimpered, falling onto me. She let her head sink into my lap, not showing any signs of discomfort as the seatbelt dug into her side. I grab a strand of her hair, and start to play with it.

"Is there something wrong?" I ask, twirling the dark blue, nearly black, hair in my fingers. It had come out of her pigtails, so it was quite long. I always loved her hair. I had black hair at one point, but then I decided to bleach it. I don't remember when, or how. I don't really want to know, either. But that's behind me, and to be honest, I like the bleached color.
