Abigail's P.O.V.

I was woken up by a gong bell and heard someone yell, "Evil doesn't sleep, so, neither should you!" I sat up in bed and saw no one with a bell in the room; "that was Sensei Wu," I heard Katie said tiredly, "he forgot the bell can be heard through the whole place." We only been here on the ship for a day and we already have a rude awakening. I started to get up but almost fell through the floor boards; I would have too, if Caroline, who was next to me, didn't grab me just in time.

"Careful," Caroline said, "this ship is very old." I saw Zabrina walk over to the sink and touched it. "This place needs to be cleaned," Zabrina said, "so you know what that means." We all sighed in annoyance and said annoyed, "cleaning day." "Well," Julia said, "might as well get this over with." "Chores?!" we heard someone yell; Uncle Wu probably told the guys that they were going to have to clean. I carefully stood up and went to go get a broom. "Abigail," Katie said then asked, "could you find nails so I could fix this floorboard?" "Sure Katie," I said and went to go find the nails; I walked over to a shelf and found the box of nails. I took them and went to walk back to Katie till my foot fell into the floorboards. "Are you kidding me?!" I yelled, placed the box of nails on the ground, and tried to get my foot out.

"Looks like you could use a hand," I heard someone behind me say. I turned around to see Kai behind me with a smirk. "I'm fine," I said still trying to pull my foot out and Kai said with a chuckle, "okay, I guess you're trying to make friends with the floorboard." "Very funny," I said annoyed then tried to pull my foot out again only to get kicked back by my own knee; and no, it still wasn't out of the hole. "Little help?" I asked with a nervous chuckle; Kai sighed and picked me up, trying to get me out. Kai then pulled so hard that it got my foot out; "well, that wasn't so hard," Kai said. I was still in Kai's arms and I started to blush a little but hid my face so Kai wouldn't know. Kai then realized that he was still holding onto me and let me go, saying, "sorry, I hope I didn't make you uncomfortable." "It's alright, I forgive you," I said and picked up the box of nails. "Well, I better go find the others," Kai said and walked down the hall.

I waved goodbye to him and walked over to where Katie was. I gave her the nails and Katie said, "thank you Abigail, you're a lifesaver." Katie put the nails in and tested the board; "it should be safe now," Katie said and stood up, "Abigail, why don't you see if anyone else needs help." "Okay," I said and went to go help the others. For the whole morning and afternoon, I helped the others with getting things and cleaning stuff up that by 4:30 P.M. everything was clean. Uncle Wu, who was out the whole day, wasn't home yet, so the girls and I decided to watch the guys play videogames. I guess the boys were able to replace the game that was destroyed in the fire or something, I don't know.

A half-n-hour later, the door opened and Uncle Wu, Nya, and Nathan were there. "What took you so long?" Kai said like a question and Nathan said surprised, "Wow! this place look great." "Yeah," Nya said then asked, "did you do all this?" "Ninja don't just fight," Caroline said, "we clean too." "You all exceeded my expectations," Uncle Wu said then asked, "but can you keep it up?" "Yes Sensei," we all, except Nya, Nathan, and Uncle Wu, said; after we said that, we all heard a loud honk outside. "What was that?" I asked and Julia said, "oh no, there is only two people who use the horn like that." "Who?" I asked and at that moment, Nya said, "it looks like we have some visitors, loud ones at that."

"Oh no," Jay said, "it's my parents." "Wait if they're Jay's parents," I said then asked, "then that makes them your aunt and uncle, right?" "Yep," Julia said, "if they start talking, don't get them keep going on." "Yeah, because they won't know when to stop," Jay said, "if you start talking then they start talking, and half of the day is gone before you know-" "We get it," Katie said interrupting Jay, "they talk too much for their own good." "Cherry doesn't fall far from its' blossom," I heard Kai say to himself; I was confused why he said until I remembered Jay and Julia talk a lot too. I guess Kai was making a point or something?
