The Last Voyage

Abigail's P.O.V.

          The others, except for Zane and Zabrina, and I were helping to repair the ship but no matter how much we tried, it's unable to be fixed. "It's worst as we feared," Nya said, "the rotors on the starboard boosters are completely destroyed." "In short, the bounty won't be flying for a while," Nathan said and Caroline said, "so, the next time the Stone Warriors attack us, we're sitting ducks." "Uh, ducks can fly Carol, weren't you listening?" Jay said/asked and Julia said, "Jay, it's a figure of speech."

         "Of course," Jay said nervously, "I knew that." "The point is, we just got our tails handed to us last time," Kai said, "we couldn't even stop one of them." "Ugh, I'll have to agree with Kai," Katie said, "I hate feeling helpless at times like these." "We shouldn't give up hope Kai, Katie," Uncle Wu said then Lloyd said, "but the Stone Warriors are impossible to defeat, it's because of them that Abby is hurt." "Lloyd's right," I said then asked, "if Lloyd and I's powers don't work on them, then what are we going to do?"

        "I believe there's a way to defeat the Stone Warriors," we heard mom say as we saw her walking over to us, "I may have found something that will be able to help us." Curious to find out how we'll be able to defeat them, we all head inside the bounty to see what mom found out. Mom then opened the scroll and said, "The prophecy reveals that the power to defeat the Stone Warriors lies within the Green and Light Green ninja."

         "We've tried," I said, "but we could only slow them down." "Abigail's right," Lloyd said, "we've gave them all we had in us." "Yes, but you're stronger than you both think," mom said, "the true powers of the Green and Light Green ninja can only be unlocked when their eight protectors find their own pure elemental powers." "You're saying we're going the guys are going to get their powers back?" Caroline asked and Cole then said excitedly, "All right!"

          "But that's a problem," Zabrina said, "the golden weapons no longer exist, there's no way for the guys to even use their powers." "True, but the powers do exist within each of you," mom said, "and the only way to unlock them is to go to the Temple of Light." "Temple of Light?" Nya said confused then Nathan asked, "what's that?" "It's true that the golden weapons were made in the Golden Peaks," mom said, "but they were forged in the Temple of Light, a powerful place I thought only exist in legend."

        "It's on the Dark Island?" Uncle Wu asked and mom said, "it's our only choice to find out." "Uh, no need to be rude, but there is a problem," Nathan said, "the bounty can't fly." "It's a ship, right," mom asked, "can't it sail?" "Duh, of course it can, right?" Jay asked which made Julia facepalmed. "Looks like we're off on another adventure," I said a bit excited for it; after saying goodbye to all of our friends and family, we set sail for the Dark Island. Before we left, Ethan gave me a locket he made for me, saying that if I ever miss home, to look at it as a memory of it. Even though I'm now way older than Ethan, he still calls me his friend no matter what.

         As we sailed on the sea, I spent most of my time, looking at the ocean, especially when the sun was setting. As I looked at the sunset, I held onto the locket Ethan gave me, knowing that when all of this is over, I'll return home. "Nice view, isn't it?" I heard someone ask me; I turned around to see Kai standing there with a smile on his face. "Yeah, it is," I said with a smile and Kai stood next to me before asking, "how's your arm doing?"

      "Still hurts a little," I said, "but I promise that it'll get better soon." "I'm sorry that you got hurt," Kai said, "I should've payed more attention.- " "Kai, it isn't your fault," I said as I put my hand, that I can use, on his cheek, "as my uncle always says, the past is the past, but there's always the future." "I guess that I'm worried," Kai said, "I know when you were younger that you always tried to not get hurt, but seeing you hurt like this, just makes me worried about you." "Don't forget Kai, I did get hurt when Lloyd tried to save me from falling off the Darley's school roof," I said, "but still, Kai, I'll promise you that I'll try my best to not get more hurt."

       Kai sighs before saying, "I know Abigail, I know..." Kai and I looked at each other for a moment and after a while, I notice Kai was leaning in to kiss me. I start to close my eyes, waiting for it to happen, when, this happened: "Kai, Abigail, you need to head to the control room-" I heard Jay yell but interrupted himself when he saw Kai and I about to kiss. Kai and I then both looked away from each other and I was blushing like crazy. "Uh, was I ruining a moment?" Jay asked and Kai said, "yes...yes, you were."

      "Well, sorry to interrupt," Jay said, "but Zane's falcon spotted something on the Dark Island." That Kai and I worried, so, we quickly headed to the control room. When we made it there, we saw something on the screen and then it went black. From what Zane said, we now believe that the Falcon is now gone. Zabrina hugged Zane, trying to comfort him but it soon ended when Nya told us that a storm was coming and that we need all hands on deck.

       We tried to make sure the bounty would be alright after the storm, but we weren't expecting a little problem on the ship. Star looking things, called Starteeth, started to destroy the bounty and we were unable to stop them, which caused for us to have a hole on the side of the bounty. While we tried to get the water out of the bounty, after the storm, we didn't know that we near land and the bounty stopped abruptly as it came close to land.

      When we got off the bounty to see the island we landed on, we noticed a tall building in the middle, which Zane said it's a prison. We walked up the stairs to the prison until we saw a camera onto of the door that was looking at us and after a few minutes but then showed an elder man, who is revealed to be Zane's father, AKA Zabrina's uncle. Zane's father invited us inside for some tea then explained to us about what happened all these years.

      Apparently, Samukai, who was the leader of a skeleton army, kidnapped him and forced him to make war machines for him. He also explained that Samukai chained a sea-creature known as a Leviathan to make sure he didn't explain, but when Samukai didn't come back, he was worried that he wouldn't see his son or niece again. After almost getting caught by the Leviathan itself, we knew that we had to get off the island with Zane's father before it comes back. Zane's father said that he'll be able to help fix the ship before dawn.

      It actually didn't take that long when we all helped out to fix it; although, when night rolled around, the Leviathan came back but the ship was good as new. We all knew at that moment that we needed to leave, NOW; so, all of us, including Zane's father, ran onto the ship and Nya and Nathan started to get it off the ground.

      We would've escaped the first time but the Leviathan was holding us back, forcing us to go back to the island. Man, for a sea-creature, he sure is determined in keeping Zane's father; Lloyd tried to use his powers to make the Leviathan go, which worked but it grabbed the boat again after we got a few feet away. We thought we were goners until Zane jumped into the water; I don't know what he did but whatever he did, it cause the Leviathan to let us go.

      Of course, all of us were worried about Zane but we then saw him climb back onto the ship. Zane knew that if the Leviathan was released that it would let us go, because no one should be held captive, not even a monster. Zane's father and Zabrina were both glad that Zane was alright but now, we have to head to the Dark Island to complete our original mission: Have the guys regain their powers and stop my father before he controls Ninjago.
