Day of The Great Devourer

Abigail's P.O.V.

      ...The snake ate Uncle Wu, as well as Pythor. I stood there in shocked as I saw the horror of the site. Uncle Wu...is dead? Lloyd, who was next to me, was more shocked as I was, so was the others. "Sensei..." Katie said shocked and Jay said, also shocked, "no..." I was standing there, holding the staff that I brought with me, and was just speechless. At that moment, I started to get angry as I felt tears flowing down my face as I tightened my grip that was holding my staff. As stupid as it sounds, I ran forward to fight the snake.

      Luckily, Kai grabbed my arm while I was running forward, stopping me in my tracks. "Abigail, calm down," Kai said and I said, "Kai, let me go!" "Abigail, it's too dangerous!" Kai yelled a bit mad; I tried to fight back but I knew I could get out of his grip. So, I yelled, "just die, you stupid snake!!" That was the worst mistake that I have made, because looked over to the others and I were and it didn't look friendly at all.

    "Uh, maybe if we stand very still," Julia said a bit nervous and Kai yelled, "run!!" We started to run away from the snake; the others were fast compare to Lloyd and I and the both of us were struggling to keep up. Kai was holding onto my arm still, so I was able to keep up, but Lloyd was struggling, a lot. After a little while, I saw Lloyd fall down to the ground and the snake was getting close to him.

    "Lloyd!!" I yelled and managed to get my arm out of Kai's grip; after I did, I ran over to Lloyd and I managed to grabbed Lloyd's hand to get him out of the snake before the snake ate him. I was lucky that I got to Lloyd like I did because the snake would've ate him. I saw everyone getting onto the bounty and Lloyd and I managed to get on. "Abigail, why the heck did you-" Jay yelled before Nathan yelled, "no time for that, we need to get out of here."

   We all ran to the bridge and we managed to get off the ground...but not that far or fast enough because after we got away from a little while, the snake caught up. "Nya, Nathan, we got to go faster!" Katie yelled and Nya yelled, "we're going as fast as we can!" "We can probably try to make it to Scattered Canyon," Nathan said, "that way we can lose the snake." "But the probability of making it that far is-" Zane said before Nya interrupted him by yelling, "never time me the odds!" "It's coming in for another attack," Caroline said in a panic.

     "Port side!" Cole yelled and we turned to port side, causing me to fall to the ground. "Uh, I don't mean to worry anyone," Lloyd said a bit nervous, "but we're kinda losing speed!!" "Wait what?!" I said shocked and Nathan yelled, "throw everything overboard!" "What?!" the guys yelled shocked and Nya yelled, "Nathan's right, we need to lose some weight on the ship!" At that moment, we all started to throw stuff overboard but then I noticed...a little minor detail. "Uh, guys," I said, "the snake is getting bigger."

   "The more it consumes, the bigger it gets," Cole said surprised then yelled, "don't throw anything else overboard!!" "What the heck Kai!" Katie yelled and we looked over to where Katie and Kai were. "Did something happened?" I asked and Katie yelled, "Kai threw another down, causing it grow bigger!" "Oh no," Jay said, "that's not good." We all decided to look at what's the snake was doing and...the snake gotten a lot bigger than it looked before.

    "Nya, Nathan," Caroline yelled, "how much time before we get to Scattered Canyons!!" "We made it," Nya said and we then ran into the bridge. We managed to lose the snake for a while until the snake hit one of the rockets with it's tail, causing it to break. We had to abandon the bounty because it was going to crash; we ran into a cave in the desert and when we got there, we saw the snake eat the bounty. We were shocked that it happened but we all knew we couldn't do anything about it. After the snake ate the bounty, is disappeared in the snake, like regular snakes do for a living.
