Once Bitten, Twice Shy

Abigail's P.O.V.

         Today, the others and I were learning about some sort of way to stop the effects of the serpentine venom without the antivenom. Nya and Nathan found out that if you raise the heart rate of the person who got the snakes effects, it would be reverse the serpentine's effects. I couldn't pay attention because I kept smelling some sort of smell. It smelled like perfume, and one of the things I hate is perfume.

         I noticed that Jay was different today; his hair was in some sort of weird haircut and he smelled of perfume, well guess I know where the smell of perfume came from. I was going to try to ignore it until Nya started sniffling and asked/said, "is someone wearing perfume? I'm severely allergic to it." Jay's eyes widened as he looked at Kai and said, "I thought you said it was men's cologne." "I get them mixed up," Kai said then everyone started laughing, except for the girls, Nya, Nathan, and I. I get that Kai was making a joke but allergies aren't something to joke about. "Kai, you know that Nya is allergic and yet you make this joke!" Katie yelled and everyone stopped laughing.

        "I think class is over for today," Cole said as he stood up; we all stood up and went outside, except for Nathan, Nya, Julia, and Jay. Jay must be apologizing to Nya about the 'perfume thing' and Julia must be chatting with Nathan. I went to the girls' and I's room to read a book and Katie was there too, working on something, I didn't know what; after a little while, Julia walked in and said, "I got a date with Nathan." That caught both me and Katie's guard off when Julia said that and I said, "congratulations Julia, you must be really excited."

         "I didn't even know Nathan liked you," Katie said and asked, "but have you ever been on a date before?" "No, not really," Julia said, "that's why I came to you Katie, you were basically known as the dating girl in the old monastery." "Really?" I asked with amazement and Katie said, "just because I watch romance movies, doesn't make me the dating girl, but still, I'll help you out for the date." "Thank you," Julia said and I asked, "how did Nathan ask you anyway?" "Actually, it's double date," Julia said, "Jay asked Nya on a date and asked Nathan and I for help, so Nathan suggested to Jay that Nathan and I would go on a date and help give advice to him." "Why am I not surprised that Jay would need help?" Katie asked with annoyance.

         Anyway, Katie helped give some advice to Julia, gave her one of her dresses, and did her hair. When Julia was ready, she looked amazing; Julia hair was up in a messy ponytail, was wearing a sapphire dress with see-through light blue long sleeves, and blue heels. A known fact about Julia is, she's very short; compare to Nathan and her, Nathan is definitely a head taller than her, so the heels would kinda help. "You look amazing Julia," I said amazed and Julia said, "thank you." "Now, head for your date," Katie said with a smile and at that moment, Zabrina and Caroline walked in. "Abigail, Katie, serpentine-" Caroline said before she interrupted herself when she noticed Julia. "Woah, Julia, you look amazing," Zabrina said and asked, "what's the occasion?"

       "Julia is going on a date with Nathan," I said with a smile and Caroline said, "well, you're probably going to have to cancel, the serpentine has been spotted at Mega Monster amusement park." "Right, we believe that the fang blade might be there," Zabrina said and Julia said, "well, we can't let them have it, but my date..." "What's more important, the date or the fang blade?" Caroline asked and at that moment, we heard a knock on the door. When we looked to see who it was, we saw Nathan there in a suit, probably ready for the date. "Uh, did I miss anything?" Nathan asked and Julia said, "Nathan, we probably need to tell Jay to cancel the double date, the serpentine were spotted at Mega Monster amusement park."

        "I heard," Nathan said, "but I think we can still have the date." "How?" Julia asked confused and Nathan said, "I saw Jay about to tell Nya to cancel, but he felt sorry for telling Nya about cancelling it, so he decided to have the date held there." "Unbelievable," Caroline said annoyed and Nathan said, "but that's good, we'll be in the area just in case you guys need help." "I don't know if that's a good idea," Caroline said and Nathan asked, "do you want to break the news to Jay and Nya?"
