The Day Ninjago Stood Still

Abigail's P.O.V.

      Today, Lloyd and I were training with the others about how to rely on our ears than our eyes. I guess it would be a good idea to learn this, just in cause we're in a really dark cave or we can't see. So far, for the whole training bit, Lloyd and I were doing pretty well as we kicked each of the ninjas' butts. After a little while training, Lloyd and I were going to do our special attack until something happened.

     The floor started to shake causing Lloyd and I to fall to the ground. When the shaking stopped, I decided to remove the blindfold that was put on me, as well as Lloyd. As soon as I removed the blindfold, I saw Kai trying to help me up. "Thank you," I said to Kai then asked the others, "what just happened?" Jay turned on the TV and the person on the news says that no one knows who is causing the earthquakes and the aftershocks were getting stronger.

    At that moment, the ground shook again but Kai held onto me, just to make sure I didn't fall down. "What do you think this could be?" Caroline asked and Cole asked, "maybe the Stone Warriors?" "Maybe," Katie said, "or maybe it's Garmandon." "I wouldn't be that surprised," Kai said, "we haven't seen him in a while." "Garmandon wouldn't do that," mom said, which made us noticed that she was here, "Lloyd's and Abigail's father may be evil, but he still loves them both as his children, he would never hurt them."

    "Mom does have a point," I said, "dad never done this before, he wouldn't put Lloyd and I in harms way." "Then what is causing these aftershocks?" Julia asked and Zane said, "perhaps we could use the falcon for it to find out where it's coming from." We all agreed on the plan and we had the falcon look for what's causing the aftershocks. After a little while, Zane used his falcon vision to check to see what was going on. "Looks like Cole's right," Zane said, "the falcon saw the Stone Warriors coming from the ground."

   "Great just great," Julia said sarcastically and Caroline asked, "what are we going to do?" "We need to get everyone out of here," Lloyd said and we agreed on that plan but we didn't know how to do that. So, we decided to help as many people as we can before someone gets hurt. We helped a lot of people, even a young woman who was trapped in a hole from the aftershock. After saving a reporter, we then decided that we need to use the bounty to evacuate everyone out of the city, only one problem, Nya and Nathan can't find a safe place to land the bounty without the Stone Warriors attacking them.

   That was when the reporter suggested to use the helipad on the NGTV building rooftop. So, after telling Nya and Nathan to head there, we all helped as many as we can to the NGTV building while the reporter told everyone, who was able to use the TV, to head there as well. When we got there, with the people we saved and helped and the people who came after seeing the reporter's warning, we all ran up the stairs to which the others and I had to start to fight most of the Stone Warriors that were entering the building.

   Lloyd and I used our powers but it only strengthened them; we knew, at that moment, we needed to get out of here. We started to run up the stairs, where the citizens ran up ahead of us, until I was grabbed by one of them by the arm. I tried to get away from them but they did something to it causing me to scream in pain, letting the others notice me in distress. I couldn't get out of his grip because every time I moved my arm, it would hurt.

    If it wasn't for Kai and Lloyd helping me, I would've been captured. Lloyd used his powers on them and Kai used his spinjitzu causing the Stone Warrior, who was holding my arm, to let go of it and I fell onto the stairs. "Abigail!" Kai yelled as he helped me up; I tried to move my arm again but the pain in my arm was too much for me. Looks like I'm not going to be using that arm for a while; the others noticed that I couldn't move my arm and started to get worried.

    However, we needed to get to the rooftop before more Stone Warriors decide to come. Kai held onto my other arm that wasn't hurting and we all made it to the rooftop, getting onto the bounty before it took off. We made it but Lloyd and I both realized that mom wasn't with us; "where's mom?" I asked and Lloyd asked, "more importantly, where's Uncle Wu?" That's when Nathan told that mom went back to get something she dropped, as soon as we came on, and Uncle Wu ran after her.

    Trust me, I didn't even know how we didn't notice her. Lloyd and I both knew that we had to go back for her but I couldn't help, since my arm was a bit broken at the moment. Luckily, we managed to save mom and Uncle Wu by the bounty flying under them when they were falling from a window. After we saved mom and Uncle Wu, Zabrina insisted that she help bandage my arm, since I hurt it.

     After a while of bandaging it, I now have an arm cast that I have to wear for a while. Man, the Stone Warrior really damaged my arm; the others were worried about me, including mom, Uncle Wu, and Lloyd but no one was more worried than Kai, himself. He asking if I was okay so many times and was WAY over protective of me. Him being overprotective actually help tell the others about Kai and I's relationship because they heard Kai call me 'his girlfriend'.

    The others were actually accepting to our relationship, with Lloyd teasing me about how I had a crush on him when I was a kid, the whole time. Anyway, as for the citizens, everyone was alright and were just hanging out on the bounty, while we find a safe place to go. However, I was getting a feeling that this would not be the last we see of the Stone Warriors.
