"They only got the first fang blade," Nathan said, "but they only need three more to unleash the Great Devourer, and we only need one." We were getting ready to try to find a way to stop Pythor, but it's a lot harder than we thought. "They have a map and we don't," Nya said then asked, "so the question remains, how are we going to find them first?" "I still can't get over the fact that you two were the Mysterious Samurais," Jay said and Julia said, "me neither." "Jay, Julia, we need to focus," Katie said, "we don't find the fang blade, we'll never defeat Pythor."
"Katie's right," I said and Kai said/asked, "besides, we're over that, can we just moved on?" "Wow, someone's hot under the collar," Julia said and I asked, "Kai, are you okay?" "Of course I'm ok, why wouldn't I be okay?" Kai said/asked annoyed; Kai is never annoyed, at least around me, so I know something's up. "It appears his impatience is because he has not discovered his true potential," Zane said and Kai said, "am not, besides, Cole hasn't either."
"I got it!" Cole yelled and Kai yelled shocked, "you unlocked your true potential?!?!" "No," Cole said, "I figured out where I saw that fang blade from." "Really, where?" Zabrina asked and Cole looked over to Caroline before asking, "Caroline, do you know where our family photo book is?" "Of course," Caroline said, "I'll go get it." Caroline left the room for a second then came back with a book and gave it to Cole, who turned to page that looked like the fang blade. "That's it!" Jay yelled and Cole said, "back where Caroline and I grew up, there was this big competition where every year the winner wins this trophy called, The Blade Cup."
"The Blade Cup?" I asked confused and Caroline said, "it's like a trophy cup but it has a blade inside." "Our father has won it multiple times," Cole said and Zabrina said, "Caroline, you never told us about your father before." "Yeah, what does he do?" Zane asked and Caroline said, "oh, he's a...blacksmith." "Nothing wrong with that," Kai said, "Nya, Nathan, Katie, and I's dad was a blacksmith too." "That's not what Caroline meant," Cole said then flipped to the next page, before saying, "he's a royal blacksmith."
The other photo showed a young man holding the blade cup; "that's your dad?" Jay asked through his snickering which Julia elbowed in the arm for. "Ow," Jay said and Julia said, "don't be rude." "How did the fang blade become a trophy," Katie asked, "oh sorry, The Blade Cup." "From what Caroline and I heard, it made by a guy who collects priceless objects," Cole said, "his name I think was Clutch Powers." "I heard of him," I said, "he's a really well known explorer." "Anyway," Caroline said, "it gets passed down to each year's winner."
"Who has it now?" Zane asked and Caroline and Cole went silent for a while before Cole said, "we don't know, we haven't spoke to our dad in a while." "Well, we'll call him up," Katie said and Caroline, at that moment, yelled, "You can't!!" We all went silent at that moment until Cole said, "he thinks Caroline and I are in Ninjago city, training in the Marty Openheimer School of Performing Arts." "He wanted us to follow in his foot steps," Caroline said, "but we couldn't sing or dance...so we ran away, but we got separated for a long time before we found each other again." "Wait a minute," Zabrina said then asked, "he doesn't know that you're both ninjas?" "What, you're going to crack a joke that our father wears a tutu?" Cole asked suspiciously
"No, I didn't mean it like that," Zabrina said nervously and Kai said, "the point is, if we're going to find the fang blade, we better get our own act in tune." "But we don't know where they are," I said and Caroline said, "actually it would be a bit easy to find the town we used to live in." At that moment, Caroline told Nya and Nathan where Cole and her used to live and Nya set sail for their town. When we got there, Cole told us that we have to wear normal clothes instead of our ninja clothes and we did what he said, reluctantly.
