Episode 11 "Snowstorm"

Making their way to the bar, Halstead and Shaylynn meet up with the rest of Intelligence.
Everyone goes in the front as Halstead goes in the back and Shaylynn stays outside.
Hearing a lot of commotion from inside, the back door slams open with Hailey's murderer running out, right to Shaylynn with her gun pointing at him.
"PLEASE give me a reason to shoot you!" she tells him, "I've had a shitty day and shooting you would make it so much better!"
The guy stands there and stares at her as Halstead runs out the back door.
He grabs ahold of the guy and slams him into the brick wall sending a 'humpf' out of him.
Forcefully moving his arms behind his back, Halstead cuffs him.
He turns the guy around and starts walking away, "I think I would have rathered you shot him," Halstead tells her as the others pull up into the alley.

The next day, Halstead finally remembered to tell Shaylynn what Beth said to have Shaylynn call her about the party.
Sitting on her bed, Shaylynn takes her phone out of her bag and calls Beth.
"Hey, you okay?" Beth asks her after answering.
"Yeah, I'm fine! Just a bit sore! What time is this party?" Shaylynn asks.
"It kicks off about eight but you can come over anytime," Beth tells her.
"Cool, I'll probably be on my own, Jay's working on something in Intelligence," Shaylynn tells her.
"Is he going to make it though?" Beth inquiries.
"Yeah, he'll be there, just later on. Have you seen the weather by the way? I think there might be a snowstorm coming," Shaylynn says.
"Oh don't say that! Nobody will turn up! I have ordered Uber's for everyone to get here and home!" Beth tells her.
"I'm so glad you're rich!" Shaylynn says laughing.
"Me too!" Beth says, Shaylynn can imagine her smiling.
"I take it you have security?" Shaylynn asks.
"Of course I do. I spoke to Rob and he organized it for me!" Beth reassures her.
"Good! I'll see you in a few hours then!" Shaylynn tells her.
"Sure," Beth says hanging up.
Shaylynn puts her phone back in her bag and stands up, she walks over to her closet to find something to wear to the party.
Looking around, she finds something that's dressy for a party and will cover her wound.
As she takes out her clothes, she pulls out Halstead's suit for him. Opening the bag, she takes the bag off and lays it on the center island then hangs the suit in plain sight.
After getting her shower and doing her makeup and hair, Shaylynn gets dressed.

Walking through the house, she finds the kids along with Jill and Jenna in the theater room watching Christmas shows, "I'm leaving," Shaylynn announces.
Jacquelyn along with the boys hurry down off the chairs and rush over to her, "Bye, Mommy," Jacquelyn says giving her a hug.
Landon and Logan both come up and give her a hug at the same time, "Bye, Momma," they both say then each gives her a kiss on each cheek.
"I'll see you two later," she says looking at Jill and Jenna.
"Alright, have a nice time," Jill says as Jenna looks at Shaylynn and smiles.
Shaylynn turns and walks out.
Heading toward the kitchen to get to the garage, she stops at the coat closet and grabs her coat out of it.
Walking through the kitchen, she takes the keys to her 'tank' down off the wall and heads outside.

Shaylynn arrives at Beth and Kelly's a half-hour before the madness begins.
Once inside, she sees things are still being set up with workers with the caterer running around.
That's when Shaylynn sees Severide, she walks over to him, "Kelly, where's Beth?" she asks him.
"She's upstairs with the girls," he tells her.
"Thanks!" she says smelling him, "Why do you smell like baby shampoo?"
Severide laughs, "I gave Jaden a quick bath," he tells her.
Shaylynn smiles at him, "Baby shampoo smells good on you! I'll go up and see if I can help her," Shaylynn says as Severide smiles at her.
Shaylynn walks over to the stairs and walks up to find Beth with Rosie and Ellie in Rosie's room.
As she walks in Beth looks over at her, "I hope these two settle down and get to sleep. I kept Ellie awake this afternoon so she would sleep tonight!" Beth tells her.
Shaylynn starts laughing, "You bad mom!"
"Shhh!" Beth says looking at Shaylynn then turns her attention to Rosie.
"Me no go bed!" Rosie says.
"You're tired, Rosie!" Beth informs her.
"Nooo," Rosie says rubbing her face into her pillow.
"Eughh, snotty nose on your pillow!" Shaylynn says making Rosie laugh.
"Mommy will get you a special teddy!" Beth tells her.
"Where?" Rosie asks her.
"You mean when, tomorrow baby," Beth says.
"Bribery too huh?" Shaylynn questions as she laughs.
"Shh!" Beth says once again.
"I'll read them a quick story, you go finish getting ready," Shaylynn tells her.
"Thanks, the nursery nurses should be here soon," Beth tells her then walks out of the room.
Ten minutes later the nursery nurses walk into the room.
