Standing there Shaylynn stares at Beth as Beth stares at her. "Who are you?" Beth asks with a confused look on her face. "It's me you little shit!" Shaylynn tells her. "What!" Beth says. "Me, Shaylynn!" she tells Beth as she looks over at Halstead, they smile at each other as Severide looks at Shaylynn in shock. "No, it's not! You're too skinny!" Beth says looking down then back up at her. "Thanks! I could always tell Kelly what we got up to in Scotland," Shaylynn tells her. "I never go up to anything in Scotland!" Beth says as she intensely stares at the woman. Shaylynn gets a shitty grin on her face, "Shaylynn!" Beth says in shock. She starts laughing and crying at the same time making Beth cry "I want the name of your surgeon now!" Beth tells her. "No, you don't!" Severide says adamantly. "Let us in! It's freezing!" Halstead says. Beth moves out of the doorway so Shaylynn and Halstead can walk in. When they're in, Severide closes the door as Beth inspected Shaylynn's face. "How the fuck did he manage to get you to look that good?" Beth asks. "He's good at what he does I suppose!" Shaylynn tells her smiling. Beth started poking Shaylynn's face with her fingers then began to pull at her face working her way to Shaylynn's nose. "The look on your face!" Shaylynn says, "Were you expecting my nose to come off in your hand?" "You look great, Shaylynn!" Severide tells her as he stands there smiling at her, Beth gives him a jab in the ribs with her elbow, "What! Well, she does!" he tells Beth. "She does! That's the problem!" Beth tells him. Severide winks at Shaylynn as he puts his arms around Beth and kisses her, "But you're hotter!" "I am! And don't you forget it!" Beth tells him. "Beth, You're hilarious!" Halstead tells her. "Does it hurt?" Beth asks Shaylynn looking at one side of her face then looking at the other side. "It did but I'm okay now. Still a bit swollen here and there," she tells Beth. "Do you want food? I need to fatten you up!" Beth says. "I'm not going back to that again! I dropped sixty pounds and it's staying off! I'll have a bottle of water," Shaylynn tells her. "How did the kids take to your new face? Do you need to take it off at night to clean it?" Beth asks staring. "Beth!" Severide says to her sternly, "You're really insensitive at times!" "Kelly, it's alright! I wouldn't expect anything less from her," she tells him laughing, "I haven't been home yet. I went shopping then went straight to the District to see Jay!" she says looking at Halstead who's smiling at her. Beth gets a look on her face, "Oh what! You two are disgusting!" Shaylynn looks at her, "And you have never gone to the Firehouse at night to pay Kelly a visit?" she questions as she laughs. "I haven't done that in a while!" Beth tells her as Severide laughs with his face turning red, he looks at Beth who's looking at him smiling. "Yeah, we'll need to sort that!" Severide says smiling. "You get more than your fair share at home!" Beth tells him. The four of them walk into the living room. Shaylynn spotted Jaden lying on the couch. He was beginning to wake up. Walking over to the couch, Shaylynn looks down at him, "Oh my God, he's gotten so big!" she says as she picks him up, "Where's Ellie and Rosie?" "Out with Rachel and Maya. They have better social lives than us!" Beth tells her. Shaylynn gives Jaden a hug, then a kiss, "Well hey there gorgeous!" Turning to the French doors, Shaylynn opens them and walks out to the garden with him leaving Halstead, Beth, and Severide standing there.
