I Love You || Jorbyn

𝐵𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝐹𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑠

Corbyn and Jonah, they were attached at the hip. They were always together. You saw one, you saw both. Both depended on one another. They told each other everything. It was like they were each other's soulmates. Friend soulmates.

They met in kindergarten. Corbyn was a shy petit boy. He kept to himself. He was often alone making Jonah frown. So Jonah took it upon himself to be friends with him. Which he did. He walked up to Corbyn and both hit it off immediately.

Saskia, Corbyn's mother, heard about Jonah through Corbyn. She was surprised. Corbyn had never had a friend due to his shyness. So to hear that her baby boy had a best friend was a relief. She invited Jonah and his family over.

Both families hit it off making everything seem completely perfect for both boys. They had each other and their families loved one another.

But then puberty came. Jonah was a muscular person. He was well built and played sports. Corbyn, he was slim and skinny. He was very smart so he stuck to more academic activities. Both boys remained best friends despite their differences.

Age 15 came along and Corbyn began to change. He began to distance himself from Jonah and everyone else. It hurt Jonah. Corbyn was lost in his own world half the time. Jonah had no idea what happened. He and Corbyn always told each other everything.

And then Corbyn told him. Corbyn came out as gay. Jonah of course didn't care. He was just happy Corbyn finally told him. And then everything went back to normal.

Until age 17 approached. Everything went down hill once again. Only this time, much, much worse.

Corbyn turned to self harm. And he wasn't opening up to Jonah about his situation any time soon.
