Y/n's pov.

" Ein? " I asked as I feel warmth on cheeks.

He was wearing a white shirt and a blue jacket tied around his waist, with a pair of shorts and blue converse.

Beside him was Mariko, she's wearing a peach shirt with a pair of shorts and she's barefoot. I notice a few scars on her left arm and she hid it when I noticed.

" Your racoon has something that is Ein's " Mariko said.

I look at the Riley and see the necklace around his hand. I grab it and he hiss, I hiss back at him. He growls and jumps on Marsh.

I look at the locket and I see a picture of Ein and her. How does she know Ein?, I snap back to reality and approach Ein.

" Here, sorry about Riley, he has a habit of stealing things " I said and place it on the palm of his hand.

" You keep a racoon as your pet? " Mariko asked.

" It's the first thing dad got for her " Marsh said and pass a cracker to Riley.

" What are you guys doing here? " I asked.

" We're just hanging out, Landon gave us a break " Ein said.

" And so did my dad " Mariko beams a smile.

Riley then jumps back on my shoulder and still continues to munch on the cracker.

" What about you guys? " Ein asked.

" We're just hanging out " Marsh said.

" I thought hanging out was not your thing " Mariko said.

" It's Riley's thing actually " I said.

" Aren't racoons really dangerous to be kept as a pet? " Ein asked.

" Riley was given to me when he was a kit, he's more likely used to being in a cage, around people and sometimes, when he's really stubborn, he steal things but gives it to me " I said.

" And he's getting more aggressive, but he still behaves " Marsh said.

" I gotta say, he's kind of cute " Mariko said.

" Wanna touch him? " I asked.

" No thanks and shouldn't he be on a leash? " She asked.

" Nah, Riley is well trained to come back " Marsh said and I can hear Riley growling.

" Is he supposed to growl? " Ein asked.

" Scared? " I asked.

" No, just, aware " he said.

Riley then jumps off me to Marsh.

" He was getting bored of my shoulder " I said.

We then hear a beep, I look at Marsh and it was his watch.

" I gotta bring Riley back " he said and walk away.

" I thought you just got here " Ein said.

" We've been here for three hours " I said.

" We've been here for two hours " Mariko said.

" Riley must've saw the necklace, it is shiny " I said.

" Wanna join us? " Mariko asked.

" I- "

" Good! " She grabs my wrist.

" Whoa! "

Mariko let go off me and head to the volleyball court, where I see a girl with jet black hair and red crimson eyes.
