Y/n's pov.  

" Father " I said.

" Did you get it? " He asked.

I take it out of my shirt and give it to him, he looks at me in confusion.

" Dante, tried to get it " I said, he nodded.

The girl then inject my shoulder with anesthesia.

" Meet me at the back with Laurence " he said I nodded and walk away.

I turn at the front to see Dante eyeing me.

I look away and the girl take out the bullet. She stitched it up and bandage.

" Your done " she said, I nodded and got off.

I head to Laurence and see them still stitching him up.

" Father said meet at the back " I said.

" I'm gonna get punched am I? " He asked.

" Probably " I said.

" Ow, I felt that " Laurence said.

" The wound is not that deep, so I don't put that much anesthesia " the girl said.

" They got the bullet out " I said.

" You and Ein have been close lately " he said.

" I don't know " I look away.

" Do you love him? " He asked.

I haven't thought of that.

I stayed silent.

" You love him? " He ask again.

I just, nod.

" Take good care of him, Gene would be happy " he said, I smile.

" Thanks " I said.

I see the girl bandage his arm and he got off.

" Let's go " he said, I sighed.

We walk down to he pathway and see father parked at the driveway. It was out of sight of the police.

We approach and see father putting on brass knuckles as he leans against his car.

" Shit " Laurence mumbles.

" That's not for you " I said.

We stood on front of him.

He then strikes down as I feel the blades scrape across my cheek bone. I fall to my knees and Laurence caught em as I hold my cheek, I see blood stains, I wipe it on my shirt.

" He's supposed to be alive " he gritted his teeth.

" He swallowed the explosive and set it off " Laurence said and I started coughing.

I cover my mouth and blood was stained, I look up to see him with a knife, he grabs Laurence by the hair and Laurence yelp, he plunged the knife onto his abdomen and take it out, dropping it on the floor.

" Laurence " I crawl to him and see him grunting in pain, I hold he wound.

I bit my bottom lip as tears stream down my cheeks.

" The next time you failed a mission, I won't hesitate to kill you personally " I hear him got into his car and drive away.

" He missed " Laurence winced.

I burst out crying.

" I'm sorry " I said.

" It's not your fault " he sit up slowly and I see his nose it bleeding.
