COURAGE

The Second Class Investigation for the second murder case begins now.

The room cannot fit us all, everyone except me agreed to group us into two which I had no choice but to also agree. Since I already had the chance to enter the crime scene earlier, I was in the last group to enter— including all the juniors and the annoying Prisoner two.

"Say, Prisoner six... ano'ng klaseng drugs sinisinghot mo noong elementary ka kaya ganiyan ka mag-isip? You could've just been selfish and leave this place! You only had four more points left." Just like what I expected, magdadada nanaman nang magdadada si Prisoner two kahit nananahimik lang ako rito.

She sure does have a talent of making people hate her. Hindi ko na siya pinansin dahil kapag mas lalong binibigyan ng pansin ang mga katulad niya ay ikatutuwa lang nila.

"What made you think there were two killers? You know that's impossible in a place like this," Barbie made a point mentioning our location.

"Yeah! They can just blow each other off!" Eden supported Barbie's doubt to my belief.

"Unless they weren't sure who really killed who," Setsuna spoke before me. I gave him a side-eye, we seem to be on the same boat today.

"Well yeah, both of them could have possibly done something that made Prisoner five in that condition." Eden was also on our side. Para siyang embodiment ng justice sa pagiging open niya sa lahat. He gave me a reassuring smile after we had eye contact. Luh.

"Ang tatanga niyo! Hindi ba umamin na si Prisoner five? Bakit pa kayo naghuhukay kung may hukay na?" singit nanaman ni Prisoner two.

"Hukay? Para kanino?" tanong ko naman sa kaniya. Hindi ko na natiis.

"Para sa sarili niya!" Her rebuttal almost made me laugh.

"Sinong tangang gagawa no'n?" tanong ko ulit, doon siya natahimik.

"By chances, everyone except me knows atleast one of us. Pero halata namang lahat kayo galing sa mga mayayamang pamilya— you guys love life too much." I may have said something that might have offended them, but the truth still stands.

One thing they all have in common is their social status. Meanwhile me, a transferee who came from middle class family; I know nothing about the wealthy ones but I know when I see one. One thing they can't afford is to die.

"Upbringing of a child will never be good when the paradigm weighs them down," Azazel butted in; as if it was the topic we were talking about.

"What do you mean?" tanong ni Barbie.

"In other words, the pressure got the kid," Setsuna spoke before the quoter could even answer.

"That's not what I meant but okay." Setsuna shrugged his shoulders to Azazel's response.

"Looks like the first group to investigate is already finished! Please head to the crime scene as fast as you can because this time, supposedly, the fifteen minutes for the second group has been shortened to five minutes!"

"What? Why?" Barbie irritatedly asked. We couldn't do anything to protest as it's just going to cut us more time to investigate.
