Dan was a little.. off after seeing Charlottes dead body.
I decided to give him something, the homemade pudding I made almost a year ago.
"Hi." I smile, I placed the box neatly wrapped in white wrapping paper with all the pudding cups inside. "How are you felling?"
"I need to talk to you-" he said grabbing me by the arm along with Lucifer and Chloe.
I had Ella watching Esther but I don't know how long she would last.
"I have something to tell you and our lives will be in danger if anyone finds out about this."
"Okay, what is it dan?"
"And why does it have something to do with me?" I say confused.
"I know who murdered Charlotte."
My crossed arms fell to my side.
"Who?" I asked.
"Pierce. He killed her."
"Why would he do that?" Chloe asked.
"Cause he was investigating him-"
I zoned out.
It made sense, the night of the murder he wasn't in his office and there wasn't a reason why he would need to.
I snapped out of my thoughts when Dan lunged at Lucifer who played it off as a hug.
They sat down, I stood still thinking.
"Pierce is more formidable than either of you realize. We are talking about the worlds first killer."
"and you, no more of your metaphors."
I sighed looking at Chloe.
"They aren't metaphors. I wish he was talking in metaphors about Pierce, it isn't." Before I could talk more, Ella walked in.
I smiled at Esther, taking her from Ella's arms.
"Pierce wants to talk to us all." They nodded and Ella went out.
"Meet me at the penthouse. I have something to show you."
I stayed in the room, staring at him.
How he faked tears.
Esther started babbling.
"Yeah, mommy hates him too, Essie." I said kissing her forehead.

"Darling, are you sure?" Lucifer was asking me this question a billion times.
"Lucifer, we need to show them this for them to believe us. It's not.. Chloe is our friend. Dan is too and the love of his life died because of Cain."
