Lucifer was battling his self hatred, I knew that.
I tried to make him feel better about himself but it seemed like it only worked for a moment, before you could practically see the self hatred bubbling up inside him again.
I got a call from Chloe.
"Hey, what's up?" I say.
"We could use you for this case, are you free today?"
"Yeah.. I need to get maze to babysit though."
"Thank you! This case is... odd."
"Aren't they all? Especially with Lucifer."
"You speak the truth." She laughed.
"I'll see you soon."

I pull up to the house.
"Damn my sister looking hot at a crime scene!" Ella teased. I rolled my eyes, lifting my aviator sunglasses on top of my curled hair, with a side part.
I pulled down the sleeves of the red off the shoulder, fixing the ruffles and tightened the designer scarf around my neck. I pulled up the light wash ripped jeans and stepped out of the car, my red lace up heels clicking.
"Sorry about this outfit.. I have go to the studio for a photo shoot later. Something about the dancer group of the year magazine thing.. Anyway.. I'm here."
Within seconds, we heard a motorcycle.
"Do you know what this is?" Chloe asks Lucifer.
"Haven't the clue." He says.
Maze and Even get off the bike, taking their helmets off. Eve giving Lucifer a look.
I glare at Maze.
"Mazikeen, Where is my daughter?" I say, crossing my arms.
"She's safe, relax."
"I thought you said you had the day off."
"Well, something came up." She glared back.
"If anything happens to her, it's your head I'm coming for."
"Alright, love. I'm sure Maze thought this through, no one likes an angry mother. Especially one who could destroy the universe with a snap of her fingers." Lucifer mumbled the last part, holding my arm.
"We heard you got a suspect on the run, we'll catch her in no time."
"We? What, you two are working together now?" Lucifer asks.
