Lucifer told me to stay at home and make sure everything was locked, he asked Maze to stay at home today and she brought Linda because something had happened.

"Is Cain really that dangerous that we have to be full on lock down?"

"Lucifer is just protective. He doesn't want you or Esther to get hurt." I glanced at the sleeping baby beside me.

"Don't worry. I'll protect the little devil." Maze says, seeing how nervous I was.

"Thank you."

Linda was with Esther upstairs while I stressed about the man in the backyard.

"Maze..?" I say, she stares at the screen. The man looks right up at the security camera.

"Holy shit." I whisper. He glared before walking off.

"Go.. upstairs." I say as I run to the back room, grabbing the gun in the safe.

I walk outside, seeing the man staring at me.

I point the gun at him, he holds his hand up with a wicked smile.

"Just comin' here to talk, Angel. Put the gun down."

"Don't call me that." I growl. "What do you want."

"Cain just wants to tell you that you'll regret manipulating him. He'll find a way to hurt you."

"I doubt it. Get off my property."

"It's hardly yours, it's your mans. A poor little girl to a rich woman because of a child. You really sleep your way to the top, don't you?"

"Wow; really, accusing me of sleeping around. Classic."

"But it's true, isn't it. Mark, heir to a millionaires fortune, Lucifer one of the richest men on the planet, the men who got into the elite stripclub you worked at."

"I didn't sleep with any of them."

"Really? Do you don't remember me?"

I stared closer at the man. My breath hitched.

"You tried to rape me, that's considered sleeping around?"

"Don't act like you didn't like it." He smirked. "But it's not like I'd do it again, after you had the child. You're not as attractive."

"I screamed and yelled for you to stop, I had to punch my way out of your grasp." The gun clicked. "I'll say it once more before these expensive tiles are stained with your blood."

"Fine. But I'll be back." He said before walking off. I put the safety thing on the gun, wrapping myself in my black silk robe.

I looked at myself in the mirror.

Flashbacks of the man touching me, I shivered. I tugged one the extra weight I had yet to work off, the stretch marks on my thighs and hips.

How I wasn't as skinny as I was before having Esther.

I sighed, throwing on an oversized sweater to cover my body.

I walked to the nursery, seeing Linda and Maze playing with Esther.

She made a noise hearing my voice as I greeted the other women in the room.

"Hi baby girl!" I coo, picking her up from her position on the floor.

I fixed her black hair and put her little hat back on as it had slipped off as she played.

"Do you have any idea when Lucifer would be back?"

"They said that they were confronting Pierce a few hours ago so he should be home soon." Maze said still occupied with Esther.

I heard the door slam close. I furrowed my brows as the four of us see Lucifer walk into the house and go straight to the bar.

We follow him and see that he was drinking, his devil face appeared.

"Lucifer what happened?" I asked, holding Esther close to my body.

He looked at me, not answering.

"Lucifer."

"Get Esther our of here. I don't want her to see me like this."

"I doubt she minds, Lucifer. She seems fascinated by you." Kinda speaks seeing how Esthers eyes never leaving the sight of Lucifer.

"Just do it." He said slightly angrier.

I gave her to Maze, they walked to the other room and I sat beside Lucifer.

He looked at me, sadness in his eyes.

"What happened out there?"

"I fear that I scared off the detective for good."
