Lucifer was being super cute lately.
He would show more affection and we would cuddle more, usually with Esther climbing all over us.
I held onto Ethers hands as she waddled around the house.
She couldn't walk on her own yet but she was getting there.
"Find daddy, go find dada." I said, she looked around walking through the house until she lead us the living room where Lucifer was playing piano and drinking (when was he not drinking tho?)
"Dada!" Esther giggled, Lucifer look at us. Smiling before waiting for Esther to make her way over to him.
"Come here you little devil." He said lifting her up onto his lap so she could bash the keys.
"Hi." I mumble, kissing his lips.
"Hello, darling. Are you excited for our date tonight?"
"Very. I can't believe this is our first date and we're like 3 years together?"
"Well, we make up for it in other ways." He winks. I roll my eyes smiling at him.
"You make jokes at the wrong times." I laugh.
"We all know you love me."
"Unfortunately." I sighed sitting down beside him.
"That offends me."
I laughed, pulling him in for another kiss.
"Don't worry, I'll make it up to you tonight."
"Hmm.. I'm looking forward to that."

I was getting ready for our first date. Dang, that was weird to say considering we had a child together before we went on a date.
Lucifer had told me we would be going to the beach, my favourite place on earth.

I tied the bow tighter around my waist to make me look skinner and pulled up my strapless bra.
My hair was in a messy ponytail, I painted my lips red with some eyeliner and a blinding highlight.
I put on some diamond earrings along with a bracelet Lucifer got for me.
I wore wedges heels with white strap like ribbons that you laced up, I finally finished and walked downstairs.
Lucifer waited for me at the end of the stairwell.
"You always amaze me with your beauty."
I roll my eyes laughing.
"I'm making the devil into the cheesiest man ever." He holds out a hand, and I take it before he leads us to the car.

We had dinner at this fancy place near the beach and after that, Lucifer took me for a walk on the beach. Watching the moon rise.
I hold my shoes in one of my hands and my other intertwined with Lucifers.
I laughed as he talked, moments that he had with his many siblings.
He and the rebellious siblings had a human childhood.
It was so cute and all the pranks they pulled were so funny.
He pulled me close, his thumb moving back and fourth against the back of my hand.
"Amelia.." I looked at him weirdly but still with a smile on my face. His darks eyes meet my own, he smiles and chuckled. "Every time I see you, I fall in love with you again and again."
"I love the way you take care of our daughter. The way you treat everyone the same, I love that side of you when you get so angry, you become wicked." He smiles, fishing something out of his pocket.
He holds out a diamond ring, I gasp softly, looking up at him.
The diamond reflects when the moonlight hits it, he looks at me smiling.
"I'm not going to ask a question or get down on one knee. But I am going to promise you, I will never intentionally hurt you, I will always love you and I want to spend the rest of eternity with you."
"And I want to spend the rest of eternity with you." I smile brightly, wrapping my arms around his neck, pulling his down for a kiss.
"I love you." I whispered.
"I love you too. I love you so much." He mumbled against the skin of my neck.
He slips the ring on my finger.
"Lucifer, that is a huge ass diamond."
"Believe me, I would've gotten the larger one if Miss Lopez didn't stop me.
"Ella knew?!"
"So did the detective and the doctor."
"How many people were in on this?"
"Just our friends, love."
"Hmm... they did a good job lying to me."
"Lying is harsh, more like keeping a secret."
"Whatever," I sigh, smiling as I look into his eyes. "I'm just happy that you're in love with me."
"Forever." He smiled. I chuckled softly at the cheesiness.
