bound
You're but a blur of mint green,
I'm trying to stitch your broken seams,
Eyes that hold heavy,
You like to drown by any means.Enveloped by black holes,
Sharp words won't mend your soul,
Only let you sink deeper,
Only make you lose control.Spit at me with no emotion,
But I can see that you've been broken,
They've got you by your neck,
Screams blocked cause you've been choking.Break your skin till it's raw,
Kiss of death on your jaw,
Fighting with all your strength,
A slave to pain — your biggest flaw.I'll lay my lips on your skin,
Bring you colour like it's a sin,
I'll love you till love's demise,
And hold you as your healing begins.Enveloped and close to my chest,
A place for you to confess,
Let go of the pain that you've been holding,
And lay your weary head to rest.// R.M
