(So sorry for being late T^T)

Hattori came over often, mostly to check on the status of the currently being built dimensional machine. We had figured out, because of a self-proclaimed witch and a certain magical gem that another dimension does indeed exist, and Hakase is currently getting the materials for it and constructing it based on the "laws of magic" - I'm still rather unsure about this whole thing but science doesn't lie and I'm not about to doubt the results I'd obtained from my endless experimentation.

Currently, we are walking down the street talking about it with a mixture of slight code words and a bit of me acting more like a child than I really was - I was embarrassed at the preposterous things that left my mouth as we talked, and I was sure he'd hidden a tape away of this. I noticed the distinct sound of buzzing in my ear, and so I swatted it. I missed, the small fly buzzing around us.

I growled in annoyance, and gave up, not wanting to embarrass myself any further. It was only a fly, after all, what harm could it do?

"Pffft..." I whipped my head around to glare daggers at Hattori, who didn't stop cracking up.

"Exactly what is so funny?" I ask, my voice ice cold, making Hattori freeze up with a stupid look on his face, but he still didn't stop snickering. I grit my teeth and opened my mouth, fully intending to make him regret his actions.

"So that kid really is Sherry.." A man said to himself, his tone flat and his eyes like chips of ice. The people around him all tensed at the name, except for Vermouth, who simply just stood there, amused.

He turned around sharply, eyes flashing as he trained his gaze on his partner, Vodka. "Inform Anokata about this development immediately."

"Of course, Aniki." He replies, not a hint of hesitance in his voice. Gin smiles, but not the warm smile someone might expect to see. It was the cold smile of a predator, having closed in on it's prey.

As Vodka leaves, he continues to watch Sherry through the eyes of the "bug", his cold smile curling up into a cruel smirk. How fun this was going to be, being able to kill the woman who'd given him far much more trouble than she was worth.

His phone vibrated in his pocket, and he was forced to tear his gaze away from the monitor. He frowned, and pulled out the phone, feeling a twinge of annoyance. A message blinked at him expectantly, and the feeling disappeared. He grinned once again, malice practically oozing from him. "This will be fun." He said darkly, making Vodka - who had just returned - shiver slightly. Gin turned towards him.

"Come on, let's go. Get Chianti and Korn, as well as Vermouth and Bourbon. We have orders." He snapped, causing Vodka to flinch. "Rendezvous tomorrow at Kudo Shinichi's house." He walks off, with Vodka hurrying to keep up. He chuckles under his breath. Kudo Shinichi. Miyano Shiho. Those two will regret ever crossing him the moment he gets a bullet in their heads.

Haibara couldn't help but feel like something bad was going to happen. They had just finished the machine, and she should be feeling happy, but all she felt was this sense of horrible dread. A shiver went down her spine and she turned sharply, trying to locate the nearest window.

"Ai-Chan? Is something wrong?" Agasa asks, looking at her worriedly from where the machine sat. Hattori looked up too, confused when he saw her rigid body, staring in what seemed like horror, her mouth opened in what seemed to be a soundless scream.

"Oi, lil' neechan! What's wrong?" Hattori asks, rushing over to her. She lifts a shaking hand to point at a car - and oh god isn't that the same black Porsche Kudo had told him to stay away from?

"Shit." He grabbed Ai's tiny hand and pulled her away from the window, just in time to dodge a barrage of bullets. He flung her into the machine with him, and began quickly typing out a very cryptic message to Kazuha, and swiped over to his notes to leave another message for anyone who might find it. He threw his phone out of the machine and yelled to Agasa. "Quick, activate it and get in 'ere! Got no time, and we can't leave ya here - you'll be killed! C'mon!"

The professor followed his instructions, grabbing his blueprints before he began running as fast as he could to get in.

Another crash of bullets sounded, causing Hattori's heart to jump out of his chest. Ai just stood there, frozen and a shaking mess. Suddenly the professor leapt inside, and the door shut a split second after. The pod began to shake, and the world started spinning. It felt like he couldn't breathe, as if the air was being sucked out of his lungs. He slowly lost consciousness, falling to his knees weakly as his vision began to fade.

Then everything went black.

Hi guys! So sorry for the wait, and so sorry for the shorter chapter that's probably very crappy. I didn't know how to do this chapter so I kept erasing and redoing and feeling frustrated so that's partially why it took so long. I hope you all liked this chapter, I hope to get another one out this weekend. Today is productive day! (`・ω・')
