Lies

Artemis appeared on Olympus outside of the council chambers and took a deep breath, collecting herself before turning and opening the large doors that lead into the throne room. As she entered Zeus and Hera were sitting on their thrones talking to each other though about what Artemis couldn't tell

When Zeus noticed his daughter enter he turned to face her as she bowed slightly "Artemis what are you doing back? Your supposed to be tracking down Prometheus" He said slightly irritated

"My king, my Hunt and I were able to track down Prometheus, I come to give the council my report," Artemis said making an effort to sound like her usual self

"Very well then" Zeus replied as thunder sounded in the distance shortly followed by several bright flashes of light as the different gods and goddess appeared in the throne room and took their seats

As Artemis walked to her throne her glanced around at the other gods and thought back to the day Percy and the others had run away

Which of these gods did the Agents consider trustworthy? Artemis wondered to herself

"Thank you all for comming, Artemis says she has a report about her efforts to track down the Titan Prometheus," Zeus said as he sat back in his throne and look over to Artemis

"Uhh yes," Artemis said quickly shaking herself out of her own thought "less than two hours ago my Hunt and I were able to successfully track down and kill the Titan Prometheus as well as the majority of the monster force that we had with him"

"He had a force of Monsters with him?" Athena asked leaning forward in her seat

"Yes" Artemis replied glancing over at her sister "Approximately 50 monsters including Hell Hounds, Dracine, and Gorgons amongst others"

"Where any of your hunters injured?" Hermes asked with a slight look of concern on his face since he has two daughters in the Hunt

"Two of my hunters received minor injuries but have already been taken care" Artemis replied

"Did Prometheus tell you how he managed to reform and escape Tartarus so quickly?" Athena asked as she stared intently at Artemis

Artemis had to stop her self from shivering as Athena stared at her, it was almost as if Athena knew what actually happened.

"He mentioned something about a 'higher power' and that he thought I would be meeting 'her' soon" Artemis replied as calmly as she could

"Who could be powerful enough to raise a major Titan from Tartarus that quickly..." Athena asked out loud, seemingly to herself

"Hades, has there been any unusual activity from Tartarus recently?" Zeus asking glancing over at his brother, who sat casually back in his seat as he rubbed his chin

"No...If anything it's been unusually quiet" Hades replied vaguely

"If Prometheus is back who knows what or who else this being has summoned" Poseidon piped up from his seat as he gripped his Trident tightly, his knuckles turning white

"Well if Prometheus said 'her' that eliminates Tartarus himself and Kronos...And Gaia is unlikely to ever reform to the extent to revive a being as strong as Prometheus" Athena reasoned

"We have lots of enemies and as I recall from the last two wars our enemy had to tell us who they were before we figured it out" Ares said sarcastically

Zeus grunted an irritated agreement

"And this time we don't have our strongest Demigods to fight our enemies" Demeter said under her breath

"Do you have something you wish to add Demeter?" Hera asked condescendingly

"Oh don't give me that shit, without Percy Jackson and the other demigods left we would have lost the Titan War" Demeter replied as she rolled her eyes

"Those Traitors made their choice" Hera replied as she became more irritated "Whatever this threat is we will defeat it"

"Without those Traitors, you would have been swallowed by Gaia!" Demeter shouted as she stood up from her throne

Hera quickly stood to meet Demeter as both Goddes's eye glowed with power

"Enough!" Zeus shouted as he threw his master bolt into the sky and shook the throne room "We don't need a bunch of Demigods to win a war so unless someone finds and captures the traitors I don't want the subject brought up" Zeus continued as he scanned the room

Artemis avoided her father's gaze

"Artemis," Zeus said as he glanced over at the goddess whose blood ran cold as Zeus spoke her name "Do you have anything to add?"

Artemis took a quiet breath of relief "No father" She replied quickly

Zeus seemed satisfied with her answer and stood "Council dismissed"

Artemis saw Athena and Apollo giving her strange looks as she quickly stood up and flashed out of the throne room as her heartbeat quickly in her chest
