Camp Halfblood

The Argo 2 touched down in the water near camp half-blood right as the morning sun came over the horizon, as the ship came to a stop at the dock that jutted out from the beach the tired demigods saw that a welcoming party was waiting for them.

The centaur Chiron stood in his true form accompanied by Dionysus who looked disinterested in being there. A small group of campers stood near Chiron and Dionysus including Nico Di Angelo, Will Solace, and a collection of demigods including a team of children of Appolo dressed in medical scrubs with medical kits in their hands, awaiting the return of the Argo and it's crew.

As the Argo came to a stop and the demigods began disembarking Chiron came forward, shortly followed by the medical team. Chiron approached Percy who was the first one to get off the Argo

"What happened Percy?" Chiron asked with concern in his voice

"We got the kid but the mother died after a monster attack" Percy replied in an exhausted tone "Chiron, whoever this kid is, he is very powerful I have never seen so many monsters sent to attack a single child" Percy continued as a child of Apollo came over to him and started assessing his wounds

"You're saying that this was an organized attack!?" Chiron asked, the concern in his voice growing

"I am, the Minitor was leading the monster force which had very clearly been organized, very different from the roaming hoards that we usually see. This group was following someone else's orders" Percy replied as he took a bite of ambrosia

"This is most strange," Chiron said as he scratched his beard thoughtfully "What state is the child in?" Chiron asked

"The kid is fine, slept through most of the attack, the poor guy only woke up after we boarded the Argo II then fell asleep again until right before we landed" Percy replied as he looked behind him to see Annabeth coming off the Argo II with the child still wrapped in her arms. Percy briefly thought of how nice it would be to have a kid of his own one day, but quickly reminded himself that his life would likely never allow it. 

"Annabeth my dear, please bring the child here," Chiron said, breaking Percy out of his own thoughts

As Annabeth walked over she briefly looked down at the kid and smiled but Percy could easily see that she was perplexed by the child and that she was trying to figure out where he could have come from. Percy once again slipped into his own thoughts of a peaceful life with Annabeth and maybe kids of his own in the future as Annabeth approached Chiron and turned so that the Centaur could see the child clearly.

Percy was once again snapped out of his own thoughts by Chiron's voice, sounding more urgent and concerned than before, which Percy didn't know was possible

"Mr.D please come here," Chiron said with a wide-eyed look of fear and concern

"Chiron what's wrong?" Annabeth asked looking up at Chiron confused

"I'm sure its something you can handle Chiron" Dionysus replied as he took another sip from his Diet Soda can and looked out  into the long island straight disinterested

"Mr.D come here now!" Chiron said his a tone that few campers had ever experienced

Dionysus looked at the old centaur and seeing the look of concern on his face rolled his eyes and walked over and looked at the child briefly before freezing, his eyes going wide just as Chiron's had.

"It....It can't be" Dionysus said in disbelief

"It shouldn't be, we must inform the council," Chiron said quietly in a near whisper to Dionysus

"Chiron, what the hell is going on? Who is this kid?" Percy asked looking his mentor in the eyes, expecting to see the centaurs usually soft and kind eyes, but instead seeing eyes filled with fear and concern

"We can't be sure, for now, take the child to the infirmary and have him looked over. After that, take him to the big house, one of the rooms on the second floor will be converted to act as a sleeping space for the child" Chiron replied quickly "Mr.D I recommend you inform the council immediately"

"Agreed" Dionysus replied before vanishing in a bright flash of light 

"Chiron what is going on?" Annabeth asked looking up at the old centaur as she pulled the child closer to her chest

Without answering Annabeth's question, Chiron wondered off back towards camp, deep in thought leaving the groups of demigods present to all look amongst each other with confusion

"You heard Chiron, Annabeth lets take the kid to the infirmary to get him checked out by the Apollo kids, everyone else go about your business," Percy said with a commanding tone after a few seconds

As the campers began to move again Annabeth walked up to Percy and gave him a concerned look before the pair started off in the direction of the infirmary, closely followed by Nico and Will
