North Central Washington (Okanogan County) - About 10 years after Percy and Co. escaped Olympus

Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, walked around the trunk of a large Pine tree and glanced back at the group of girls that were following behind her. A group of about 20 girls of various ages all wearing silver clothes with bows and quivers of arrows strapped to their backs, the Hunters of Artemis followed behind their goddess.

It had been a hard week, the Hunt had been tracking the Titan Prometheus since he had suddenly popped up near Denver Colorado, but had so far been unable to catch up with him.

Artemis suspected that the Titan knew that they were following him but was either trying his best to outrun the Hunt or was simply ignoring them on his hike north.

The Hunt knew that they had to catch the Titan before he got too far north as they would start to get out of the range of Olympus's influence.

Artemis glanced back to the direction they had been traveling in trying to spot the advanced group of Hunters she had sent ahead of the others to act as scouts. As skilled as Artemis was in tracking, her hunters were so skilled at camouflage that even Artemis would occasionally lose sight of her Hunters, and she would have to use her godly senses to find them.

Artemis was about to use her godly senses to find her hunters when she spotted the 5 hunters she had sent ahead all stopped and were hiding behind the fallen trunk of a large tree and were all peering into the clearing ahead of them.

Artemis held her hand up, signaling for her hunters to stop and to spread out in a defensive posture, thinking that they might have finally caught up to the Titan.

Artemis glanced back at the other hunters before quickly moving to where the scouts were hiding. As Artemis kneeled next to her trusted lieutenant Thalia Grace, the daughter of Zeus, turned to face Artemis.

"Thalia, what did you see?" Artemis asked, trying to sence for the Titan's energy.

"M'lady, Maria and Anita say that there is a small campsite and what appears to be an aircraft, that they could not identify, in the clearing up ahead" Thalia reported as Artemis poked her head above the log and glanced into the clearing where she could see the faint outline of a large gray mass just past the trees.

"Did they see anybody?" Artemis asked taking her bow off her back as she ducked back behind the log

"No M'lady" Thalia replied as she drew her bow and motioned for the others hunters to do the same.

"Ok, let's take this slow, spread out in a wide formation and we'll clear the campsite" Artemis continued as she turned and motioned for the rest of the Hunt to move forward and join them.

As the hunters moved to the tree line they spread out in a wide line formation at the edge of the tree line, all with their bows draw and an arrow nocked

Artemis gave a hand signal and all the hunters stood up and came out from behind their cover and moved into the clearing.

The Clearing was a rough circle, about 70 yards in diameter, with the occasional tree, but was mostly flat and covered in short grass.

On the far side of the clearing from the Hunt was a small campsite consisting of a few bedrolls, large plastic containers, and a table with computers sitting under the wing of a large grey plane that had been parked near the tree line.
