I went back into gilinsky's room and he wasn't there. the light was on in his bathroom so I walked in. he wasn't in there either. I sat down on his bed and he pops out of the closet.
"hey!" he says

"hah hi" I say and giggled cuz he sounds like really excited.

"so how did it go?".

"umm alright I guess. he was acting stupid most of the time,ya know." i said acting like whatever.

"I'm sorry babe" he said and frowned.

"can we go on a walk or somethin?i really need to get my mind off this stuff" I said and sighed.

"course,let's go" gilinsky said and as we walked out

I was in sweats and so was he. it was great. just as we walked he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. the thing I noticed about gilinsky is that he is a little demanding about things. not in a bad way though. like he didn't ask if he could hold my hand,he just did it. and if I didn't like it,then I could pull my hand away. then he would be fine with it.

I don't know...something about that was different. I liked it.

he put his hand on my lower back and slipped im his hand into my pocket. he grabbed my phone and ran. I didn't care about catching up,I just walked at a normal pace. I saw that he was taking pictures of himself. how great to look at and embarrass him after this.
I finally caught up to him and checked out the photos. he looked so handsome😭

"gilinsky thank you for blowing up my phone with these amazing pictures of yourself. magnificent!" I said sarcastically

he just laughed and mumbled something.

i finally got tired and sat down under a huge tree.

"ahh come on,you're tired already?!?" jack exclaimed.

"I'm sorry I'm not as fit as you!"

"jump on mah back" he said in a funny voice.

"ya sure?" I asked

"yahh come on homegurl!" he said
I jumped on and he walked.

I just admired nature...and him too. who wouldn't want to tho?
we started walking back and we decided to race

"ready....set...go!!" he yelled as we ran.
I tried running as fast as I could but I'm pretty slow.

I ended up tripping and falling on my face. ouch!

I laid on the ground for a little,letting the large scrape on my face sink in. it hurt so badly. tears started running down my face due to the hurt.

I got up and started walking to the house. gilinsky was far ahead and probably didn't notice the fall. as I got closer to the house,I saw him sitting on the porch.

when he saw my face,his facial expression changed to worried. I could tell

"maddie,you alright?!" he asked as he lightly rubbed his hand on my face.

"uhh kinda. it really hurts" I said as more tears fell from my eyes.

"let's go inside and clean you up" he said as he lead me to his bathroom and cleaned my face.

"thanks jack" I said and hugged him.

"any time madeline." he said.

"so I guess we both know now that I'm not good at running" i joked

"you're good it's just that you must've tripped on your foot or somethin" he said and smiled that award winning smile.

"kiss me." he stated and he got really close to my face.

"gladly" I said and leaned in.
