Chaeyoung went back to work at her firm as well as Mina back to the hospital. They still keep in touch. But kept it to a minimum. The basic how are you doing today and I hope you're doing good. Today is Sana's birthday. Dahyun and Eugene prepared a simple breakfast for her. They also invited Nayeon and Jeongyeon to the party.
Eugene: happy birthday auntie Sana.
Sana: thank you sweetie.
Dahyun: oh they're here.
Nayeon: hey. Happy birthday
Jeongyeon: thanks for inviting us

Jeongyeon: what about me?

Nayeon: yeah sure. As long as you stay away from Chaeyoung. I mean as long you're friends with Chaeyoung it's fine with me.

Chaeyoung; so what's the plan for the year end?
Momo: wanna go to jeju?
Chaeyoung: nah. I don't want to go out of town. Can we just a nice cozy dinner here. Just the three of us plus Ray
Tzuyu : who's going to cook?
Momo: i can cook. But you better help me.
Chaeyoung: sure.
**meanwhile in Japan. Doctors are gathered at the cafeteria talking.
Doctor1: Doctor Myoui are the rumors true?
Mina: what rumors?
Doctor2: that you're getting a divorce
Doctor1: isn't it too soon. I mean. You just got married last year. What happened?
Mina: what did the rumors say?
Doctor 2: that you cheated on her
Mina: I cheated on her? Hmm Classic Somi.
Doctor3: I heard the nurses talking, they said that she moved out from your apartment? And you celebrated Christmas apart.
Mina: the nurses huh? I guess she did spend the holidays with the head nurse
Doctor1: what do you mean?
Doctor2: wait are you saying that your wife. I mean Doctor Jeon is having an affair with the head nurse?
**Mina walked out of the cafeteria without saying a word. She didn't confirm nor deny anything about the rumors.
Somi: Mina! Hey! Mina! Wait!
Mina: what?
Somi: can we talk?
Mina; what about?
Somi: did you hear about the rumors going around?
Mina: that we're getting a divorce and that I cheated on you? Yup I've heard about it. So?
Somi: uhm I was thinking of just stating "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for divorce. I don't want to disclose about the rumors
Mina: about the cheating you mean?
Somi: we are both doctors in the same hospital. I'm just trying to protect our careers.
Mina: really? Our careers? You mean your career.  Based on the rumors, which I think your girlfriend is responsible of spreading, I'm the one cheating right? So I don't think your protecting both our careers. You're just protecting yours. Don't worry I didn't say anything that is not obvious already. You can state whatever you like in the divorce papers. Just give it to me after so I can sign it already
Somi: uhm ok. Thanks.
**Happy new year !!! Nayeon and Jeongyeon are back in Seoul.
Nayeon: how's your girlfriend
Chaeyoung: oh you're talking to me?
Nayeon: of course I'm talking to you. Why would I ask Momo when her girlfriend is just beside her.
Chaeyoung: well I don't have a girlfriend to begin with.
Nayeon: oh yeah right. She's not your girlfriend yet. Let me rephrase my question. How's Mina doing?
Chaeyoung: the last text she sent was "happy new year".
Nayeon:That's it?
Chaeyoung: yup we're just being cautious. Her divorce papers are now on process.
Nayeon: so they really ended their marriage huh? It's really over.
Chaeyoung: it's not over until it's over.
Nayeon: but technically you're just waiting for the final verdict.
Jeongyeon: just don't get too excited after the divorce is final,  give it time before you two starts dating again.
Chaeyoung: yeah.
